The laughing was too loud and distracting but non the less her singing was amazing and that chorography was some of the best I've ever seen for this musical
I'm a bit disappointed with how the blood dump was done, but BOY did the choreography make up for it. Those electrocution and neck snap bits were so realistic! And Tommy was just FANTASTIC! I've seen versions where he laughs along with the rest of them, which is so not in his character...and the ending where he runs to Carrie and she just snaps his neck without a thought...chilling!
I saw a local performance a couple of weeks ago and they had Tommy run off the stage screaming “Who did this” or something like that, but he trips on the blood and dies
@@gustavoc901 I've seen do a variation of that. He sings along with the rest of them in the chorus parts, then when Carrie is singing alone it shows the reality - him being horrified and disgusted, yelling at his classmates.
I think the main aspect that made this so good (minus the incredibly well done choreography with the neck snapping) but the fact that she singled out the killing of Chris and Billy. Not many other shows from what I’ve seen have done that, and I think it’s a key element in the destruction. I feel like the couple should have been killed, saving Chris for her last kill (besides her mom) because Chris is the one who caused her anguish and I feel like Carrie would want to prolong her pain in the most gruesome way because that’s what she deems as acceptable for the pain she has caused Carrie
@@jpselover i couldn’t tell if it was a director or if it was someone making a bootleg who watched the destruction and went “well damn” haha! awesome job by the way!
i've seen versions that actually used blood - and as for ruining it...I dressed up as Carrie for Halloween one year. Every drop of the fake blood came out of my dress.

the ones who played chris and billy did so good at moving their 'dead' bodies when carrie was moving everyone in the room.

Some productions get Tommy to laugh along with them as an expression of hallucination from Carrie.

Would have loved to see Carrie in a bloodied dress, but that was awesome!!

PRETTY AWESOME! Congratz
Carrie White: Oh, Austin, My Hero!
Austin: Now what? The Fire Alarm. Ugh. I should have known. (grumbles)
Carrie White: My Maracas!
this is amazing but the guy who just said “shit” in the background made me lose it
That was me the director. The video projection jumped off track. Nobody cared but me.

quite good!
Daaaaaaaaaammmmmmmmnnnnnn
soo good like carrie more like baddie like omg
there was no blood.............
You can't with mics. It's always done with projections and lighting.
battousaiblade and it get pretty expensive to ruin a prom dress every night
ah yes if u only have 1. that's understandable. if there was a double, that would be different and no mics.
I saw a version where they used blood with a mike, but they tilted the spill to the left so it wouldn't hit the mike.

Does anyone know who played Carrie in this production?
