    Hi guys,
    Those two plastic fixings hold the air ducting for the radiator to the front crossbrace on the body, just by the crashbar. Look where the air goes in and look straight up!
    Hope this helps

    16:18 I've fitted extended roof rails now, so that trim piece came off. Boy those plastic pins are a pain.
    Tip: Bend the sides of the pin head up to form a handle, then unscrew the pin. That way they don't break, or leave any plastic in the threads to make the stainless steel rail bolts snap.
    20:31 It still does. And it's even more beautiful now with Tango 🟠🟧🔶️ accents.😊

    • @Vera_and_Christian
      @Vera_and_Christian  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It was off in about 4 hours. You have much less parts to take off. On a Disco 4, you have to take off the entire coolant hose system. Which you hardly even touch on the Disco 3. The whole purpose for the body-off is of course the engine rebuild. So we are all eager to see how that one looks. 👍🙋‍♀️Vera

    Hi Christian, I just wanted to comment about your comment 5W40 C2/3. You should probably consider a ACEA C4 mixture as it has the same low SAPS levels as a ACEA C1 && the HTHS viscosity of your much beloved 5W40 oils. So, no risk on DPF side && better protection in high temperature situations. To my understanding that is precisely what you want to acheive with 5W40, but in this case without having to cut back on the low SAPS. Your thoughts about my proposition? Regards JAC

    Good morning from Bali.
