    I love these videos and so have subscribed. I do want to mention that once for each video, I've noticed an omission in instructions. For example, before the first "knit" row, this one says there are two loops on each peg, but one peg has only one loop. May seem small, but each time one omission is made in the instructions, I re do over and over then notice. Thank you.

    could you make a clearer video on how to connect the two ends together so that it is an infinity scarf?

  • @Tuteate
    @Tuteate  10 ปีที่แล้ว

    Hi Elle Dee! Try using thicker yarn (or take 2 strands of your yarn at the same time, as if you had a double-thick yarn). The yarn we used for this video is a chunky yarn recommended for knitting needles of 6mm-7mm

    Hi, is it possible if you could try explaining the ending to me (from when your happy with the length of the scarf, to when it's complete) sorry I'm asking for a lot, I got really confused on that part. Xxx

    • @Tuteate
      @Tuteate  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Chas Wenmoth hi! Sorry, it seems the ending is not clear enough on the video :( Did you already finished? We are recommending to finish it as a common scarf (@watch?v=prz7xum6Wo4) and then sew both sides together at the end, as an easier alternative...

    Thank you for this! How many yards and what weight of yarn did you use for this scarf please?

    • @Tuteate
      @Tuteate  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Krista! :) We used 3 skeins of this yarn: shop.tuteate.com/hilos-y-lanas/118-rapido-petrole.html
      This means 120m aprox. (130 yards aprox) of yarn for knitting needles of 6 - 7mm

    Hello, I love your videos! However this one is frustrating me. What is the name of the stitch? I don't really understand casting off and sewing together. Instead, how can I cast off without making it connected (infinity)?
    Thank you,
    A big fan of yours!

    • @Tuteate
      @Tuteate  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Christina Piper Zekan hi! Yes, sorry, the last part of this video was not clear enough. Maybe the cast off shown on this other video could help you finish it without without making it connected: th-cam.com/video/prz7xum6Wo4/w-d-xo.html

    I'm just finishing mine up and wondering how to twist it like shown on the person modeling it, like they are wearing it in the video picture

    • @Tuteate
      @Tuteate  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! Let's see if we can explain it here :)
      The scarf has been finished as a circle, an "O" or a "zero", right? So you first hang this "O" around of your neck. After that, twist it on your chest as if it was an "8" (one circle would be around your neck and the other on your brest). Then make the loop that is on your brest go up and go around your head and neck too. You will have 2 loops around your neck. Give them some shape and movement, and you will get the same result shown in the picture :) (hope this explanation helps!)

    • @kaleidoscopekay
      @kaleidoscopekay 10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks, I think I used too thick of yarn, when I do this, the scarf is thick and big, have to pull it down to keep away from my mouth. I will try again with a thinner yarn.

    If you want a wider scarf and do the full loom does the pattern change at all??

    • @Tuteate

      Hi Victoria! You can do it wider, there is no need to change the pattern :) (we could have used all the full loom here)

    Are there any slower videos on how to finish and detach from the loom?

    • @Tuteate
      @Tuteate  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Andrea! Sorry, we do not have a slower version of this, but maybe you could finish your scarf as we finished it here: How to Loom Knit a Scarf - Crossed Stockinette Stitch (DIY Tutorial) (and after that, joining both sides to make it infinite)

    I don't know about anyone else, but binding off has been super tough for me. I have watched and rewatched so many times and still can't get how to get it off the first few pegs, the video seemed to skip that part, please help, this is the last part of the scarf I am working on!!!

    can you use this pattern with a circular loom?

    • @Tuteate
      @Tuteate  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! Sorry, not sure you can use the same... here we are "double knitting" thanks to both rows of pegs, while circular loom just has 1 single row of pegs...

  • @AceGreene
    @AceGreene 11 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    It is coming out so loosely. I can't figure out why my stitches aren't bound more tightly together.

    • @Tuteate
      @Tuteate  11 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Ace! We used a yarn recommended for knitting needles of 7cm - 8cm... Is your yarn thinner? Maybe you could use 2 threads of your yarn at the same time, as if you had one of the double thickness... Hope this helps...

    there has got to be a much simpler way to close the scarf. this is way to complicated. it keeps blacking out and it jumps when half the scarf is closed. its frustrating. i really wanna make this type of scarf but closing it looks way to hard.

    • @Tuteate
      @Tuteate  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi KimberlyAnn! You are right, the way we closed this scarf it's complicated and not enough clear here. Another option could be to close it as we show here: How to Loom Knit a Scarf - Crossed Stockinette Stitch (DIY Tutorial) (and then sew the two opposide sides of the scarf together to make it infinite). Hope this helps!

      Tuteate Hi, I managed to close this up no problem, but now I want to make an open one so need to learn how to cast off. I see in the link you gave that is a different type of stitch, do I cast off exactly the same, or do I need to follow the pattern in which it was looped on? Thanks
