- MK1V- DVT Leading, (DVT is a driving van trailer, loco to the rear of train). Stopping at Durham Darlington Northallerton and York. This train in its initial design process was called ELEKTRA, later to become the INTERCITY 225, (225 is kilometres per hour, which is 140mph). After privatisation it became known as just MK1V stock. There was only one portion of line at 140 mph, from Stoke Tunnel to Peterboro.
