Your excitement about books makes me consider ones I wouldn't normally read. Thanks for helping us explore! So many books on my TBR that it may exceed my life expectancy!😂
For sure my tbr will last longer than my life. Haha. There are always so many great books out there. Glad a few of these sound good to you.
I love that you read so freely and enjoy your time reading so much. Last House on the Street was a 4.5 for me and I agree the start was a little slow but I understand it had to build up the story. And yes- total gut punch and I did cry!
i also had such a fun time with TAR AND LOVED TRESS!!
I am so glad you had a good time with The Amazing Readathon! I had a great time too, but it was crazy as I was helping to moderate the Discord. Congratulations on the win for Gen Fic! I am obviously very behind on Booktube and am now just trying to catch up. Lol.
What a great reading time so far! So glad I came across your channel! I just joined Goodreads, so many books 📚💚!!
When the Day Comes❤I am sooo glad you loved it too! It’s my favorite.
Woohoo! I am looking forward to the sequel.
I loved Tress also. Wanna reread it sometime soon
I can definitely see myself rereading it at some point.
You need to read The Tenth Mistake of Hank Hooperman by Gennifer Choldenko ...5 stars ....I think you would really like it.
Tress is so fun!
Totally!
Dead and Gondola is one I recently purchased. Would love to read this year sometime. Im needing a mystery again soon! Been reading a lot of romance haha
I'm curious what you'll think about Dead & Gondola. It was fun, but ultimately forgettable for me.
I absolutely loved The Last House on the Street! Annie Rains is one of my must-read authors. The Finders Keepers Library is one of my favorites by her!
I'm interested in reading more from Annie Rains now for sure.
The Miniscule book and Summer of Yes sound like fun!
I just finished reading The Wishing Game and really enjoyed it now I'm reading Mexikid so good so far.
I put Finders Keepers Library on hold at my library. I'm glad to know you liked it. Gardening and books sound fantastic to me. The illness is the only part that worries me since I have a very sensitive heart but I'm excited to give it a try.
I read The Minuscule Mansion last year and gave it 3.5 stars. I don’t know if it was my mood, or what. But I expected to give it a much higher rating. My biggest books this month won’t be released until 6/18. One of my four favorite Urban Fantasy writers, Patricia Briggs, has the 15th book in the Mercy Thompson series coming out on the 18th. It is entitled Winter Lost. Tress by Sanderson sounds wonderful to me. In fact, every book you recommended to us. Thank you!
One of my favorite reads this month that you might enjoy too was Summer Fridays by Suzanne Rindell. I rarely read this genre (not one of my favorites), but this book was recommended to me and worth it.
For those viewers who aren''t part of your book club-Hoid (in Tress) is in every adult fantasy novel that Sandeeson has written.
So excited I came across ur channel
Hi Krista
These Books so sound good.
Take Care & Happy Reading
❤️🤗🔰☀️😎☕️❤️
I really enjoyed The Miniscule Mansion. I think I have Finders Keepers Library on my Kindle - I will check. I am glad you are having a good reading month so far.
Finders Keepers is a great follow up to a heavier read. It has some deeper moments, but it is mostly a delight.
Just requested Myra Malone from the library. Sounds very cute! You've had some great reads!
I just finished city or brass and really enjoyed it.
Yay!!! I’m so happy you loved Tress! It really is a remarkable book. I’m excited to read several that you mentioned - thanks for sharing!
Thank YOU for watching! 😊 I'm so glad I loved Tress too. I was going in with pretty high expectations and it lived up.
Your hair looks so pretty!!
As usual, added a couple of these to my reading list. Thanks for the great recs! ❤
You're welcome, as usual! 😊
Estherjane here. I LOVED The Finders Keepers Library😊
It was a lovely read. Hi EstherJane!
I’m hoping to get back to my WWII study in July and The Summer of Yes sounds like a great one to read to lighten up my reading. No ebook at my libraries but I am hold for the audio. Hopefully someone will get the ebook📔
It comes out on July 1, so hopefully it will after that date. It will make a good palate cleanser.
Loved When the Day Comes and Tress!! I want to try the Minuscule Mansion and Finders Keepers Library! I also need to jump into another Sanderson. Tress was my intro!
I love the Minuscule Mansion! I listened to it and thought it was well done. It was a 5⭐️ read for me. That means I will be looking for a copy for my shelves. I am using it for the 52 book club prompt of Story told not in chronological order.
I do like the magical realism in it. I would love to know why you thought the love story was not needed.
Glad you loved Miniscule Mansion. I think the love story part just didn't fit with the rest of the story. I didn't believe it or feel any chemistry between them. Would have been just as happy with a friendship.
I read The Annie Rains book and enjoyed it. Yes it was predictable but that is ok. I read June Bug by Chris Fabry that I really enjoyed. The other standout for this month was miss Morgan’s Book Brigade. Great piece of history that I had not heard about before.
I think I've read June Bug too. I can't remember it though.
So fun! ❤️❤️
It's hard to find books without cussing or sex in them except for Christian books which most that I have read. I do like. I'm going to get The Summer of Yes when it comes out. Thanks for telling us about it.
You're welcome. It comes out on July 1. Coming soon!
Krista the book you mentioned The Summer of Yes is not out yet.
I know. I read it early through Netgalley. It comes out on July 1.
I need that Minuscule book!!! That sounds so ME.
I bought the Finders Keepers Library and was so excited but then I got nervous. EEEP! So excited now.
I've had Tress on my TBR twice... and still haven't read it.
