    Phenomenal acting. Colin Farrell is absolutely killing it this season. Best character for sure.

    • @farvertex
      @farvertex 9 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      +Bluemgwes Agreed! But Frank Semyon is also incredible don't you think? The character and the acting is much more subtle though

    • @Bluemgwes
      @Bluemgwes 8 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      +farvertex Frank Semyon is the lowest of all 4 lead performances in my opinion. Vince's performance is very inconsistent, some episodes are better than others, but overall his performance is weak. That being said, I have to give Vince credit for breaking out of his shell to taking on a dramatic role. He definitely looks the part, but he is too self conscious in his performance, you can see it, he lacks conviction in the delivery of his lines. It was Taylor Kitsch who took me by surprise, I went into this season expecting him to be the worst, but he completely surprised me. Especially with his scenes with his mom. Farrell owned everyone though. Rachel McAdams did what she could with the character she was given which unfortunately wasn't enough to make a strong character. Like her obsession with knives paying off 6 episodes in? That's bullshit.

      I knew my father. But he was never there. He beat up my mother right in front of me when I was a child. I get so jellous of children. Fucking children. Their fathers hold their kid's hand, hold their kids on their shoulders etc. My 21 year old self just cries of jellousy inside. I would kill to relive my kid years with a GOOD father.

      Nowadays you tell your son to run to the closest safe zone, where he will receive his 'i got bullied' trophy then go on to have a no score game after school (because losing sucks). Our kids, our future's are becoming weaker and weaker. Countries like China, and Russia are out there watching just laughing at us. They just gota hold out for 50 years and we'll end up destroying ourselves.

    I get he's angry as shit not just about his son but also for him, but he seems to be so unhinged he doesn't realize how over-the-top borderline psychotic he's become and the slightest thing puts him over the edge. He doesn't seem to wanna change, so he left her with no choice but to feel the way she feels. Shit is kinda tragic and I can relate to it. Only difference is that he never beat his own kid's mom like MY dad did.

    The outcome of the paternity test at the end of the last episode reveals that with 94% certainty that Ray was indeed the biological Father of Chad. The Mother cries when she sees the outcome but by then, Ray is killed. There is something about this story which is unnerving: Ray starts off as a good man but pernicious events and pernicious people with a pernicious court system maneuver him into destruction and self-destruction, the loss of his own life and his loss of his son. Yet, society, his ex-wife, lawyers, social workers and feminists in particular will insist Ray is bad because he had the temerity to protect his manly pride. This story and how people react to it reveal why MGTOW has become necessary.

      He threatened to kill the kids parents rape his fathers beaten corpse over his mother, commited felony assault on the kids dad, and put himself in a position where he could lose his job and go to prison, its a show I get iy, but in real life there were so many ways to deal with it swiftly but nah violence, Merica !!!

    This is the problem with the system, giving women too much power. A man who loves his child has to sit there and take it. When a man has a part of him that walks this earth he'll do anything thing to protect that bond. Too many times a man suffers under this game instead of working a common cause together.

    And don't hate on the mom. She knows that Ray is a dirty cop/criminal. She doesn't want her son to be around that. Would you want your child around a guy who beats the shit out of a kid's dad because his son got bullied?
