- We finally returned to Highland Park, this time to try to ride all the hard diamonds (4, 5 and 6 diamonds!). A few were closed for maintenance, but we rode the rest. This is part 1 of 3.

Balance is the 1st thing to go when I’m tired, and my inability to stand and ride, that’s when I know it’s time to go home for the day.

Careful in this heat, bring a camelback with plenty of water. It's easy to get heat stroke out there this time of year.
btw if ur wondering 17A at 1:48 you skipped the 5D option. Its a very fun and tech down then up. also next time you go to hp go do 15a it's my favorite trail at a 4d

Great video, I have not been there since 2016. Heaven on earth right there. That first trail looked very groomed and wider than when I was there last. Getting a bike again soon. Cannot wait to go back.

I appreciate the compliment, but I don't think I'm very good! I have a lot to learn, so you're not alone. Just keep riding, seat time is everything.
Idk what camera you are using but the video quality is amazing!
I got a GoPro Hero 9 a few months back, that's what was used here. I used to use a Hero 5 on my older videos and the quality wasn't nearly as good. The 9 has way better stabilization too.
You missed the “hard” section on the first trail you took. It was off the left after the first hill climb
Yeah, someone else mentioned that, we totally didn't see it, bummer.
@@alabamadirtrider it loops back left and down the mountain, then comes back up and merges at the “easy” path yall took. In wouldn’t say it’s harder it just makes the trails a bit longer. But nice riding man👍🏻

My hand-eye coordination and balance degrade badly.
On the first one at 1:48 You turn down to the left and it goes for much longer with a decent hill climb. Then it connects back at 1:56
