I'm someone who hasn't really kept up with most of UC. No particular reason why, I've basically just watched the bare essentials for it. Been meaning to check it out a bit deeper.

I always kinda liked the idea within the UC that they discovered new things, and immediately started to weaponize those things, without really understanding the underlining concepts.
It would be like people accidently discovering the right mix of chemicals to make gunpowder, but not understanding the why or how it works, and just making weapons out of it anyway.
It's a very human thing to do. So many discoveries and technologies were made during war and weaponized before we really understood what they were or how they worked.
The Blue destinys units are probably my favorite variants of the Ground Gundam.

Oh wow, you are not kidding when you said "you will like it". I liked it, this new format video of yours is nice. I don't even know the existence of these variation of BD units before watching this. Also quick question, Marion soul is in the Main character's unit exam system right? What about Nimbus' units exam system? Do his units also have Marion soul in it (which I doubt)? Also since unit 1 EXAM got destroyed, how it is affecting Marion soul?
The EXAM system itself contained Marion's soul, which means every machine with EXAM system had a direct "connection" with her. After the unit 1 was destroyed, it didn't affect her soul. The only way to have true affection is to delete EXAM system. As I said, she was alive in the game version and moved on to afterlife for manga version.

0:42 for some reason I just can't like the 2015 manga version. the new mechanical designer made the MS slimmer and the pauldrons are really small making them look bad. maybe over time I will like it.

I remember this one time Gundam News did an April Fool's joke where they made a fake announcement for an anime adaptation of Char's Deleted Affair, then when I found out it was just a prank, I was like "Damn it!"
Its funny that the blue destiny units are dubbed the "blue menace". I picked up the nickname bluemenace in school for always wearing blue and causing trouble. 🤣
