1st Method:✅
Tools > Options > Text Editor > General > Show error squiggles
2nd method:
It often happens because sometimes user by mistake disables the setting required for producing errors or problems. Just go to code > preferences > settings > Workspace settings and enable the required settings. It worked well for me, hope it does for you too.

1. If you are annoyed using Ctrl + S to first save code and then run it you can auto save it in >Setting >Search autosave >Files: Auto Save to afterDelay > Auto Save Delay to 1000 ... This will auto save your code after every Second like in Competition coding IDEs.
2. If you are working with many tabs then use this setting to keep a proper track of all of them - Head to setting > Search Wrap tabs > turn it on. This will show all your tabs on the same screen.
3. To keep an easy view of your brackets in C/C++ use the extension Bracket Pair Colorizer 2 ... This will make your code look cool and easy for you to find missing brackets .

product icon theme -- fluent icon you can install with an extension this is awesome.
Use (ctrl +up/down arrow) to scroll so you don't have to use mouse for scrolling😊

To me the best theme I have ever come across is Monokai (Pro is even better if you wanna pay for it, but the non pro is good enough), its warm is soothing to the eyes and the font color which comes with is also very readable with good contrast and nice color separation. If you're working for more than 2-3 hours you will se the difference. The themes in the video are good but I feel like cooler tones of color are not that suitable for long hours of coding.
Thanks for this suggestion bro, I was looking for this type of theme only.... By the way the monokai pro is free now.... The Monokai Pro (Filter Ristretto) is on next level, as you mentioned, the contrast and selection of colours in code with the perfect background colour is just amazing. 😃

1) If you use discord you can download the extension called discord presence it will update your discord activity status.
2) You can install the live share extension to work together with another person (This extension is made by Microsoft)
3) You can use the live share audio extension to add audio facilities like talking to another person during live share! (This extension is made by Microsoft)
The only thing I want from VS code is dummy browser on right partition so whatever you change in Code can be seen in browser simultaneously..🙂
