Back when this video was uploaded my typing speed was around 20WPM and now after nearly 2.5 years in 2023 ,my typing speed is around 130WPM.just followed harry's advices properly and practiced on daily basis ,so just randomly came again on this video and commenting out my experience.
2.5 years is a really long time. You did it regularly or had some few months off between that time period?

I don't use 10 fingers but i use 4-6 fingers but i type at 50+

Ctrl + Backspace -> Remove full word.
Shift + Left/Right Arrow Keys -> select characters
Ctrl + Shift + Left/Right Arrow keys -> select words
Ctrl + Shift + Up/Down Arrow Keys -> select line
Ctrl + X -> Cut copy Complete Line (I use in Visual Studio, don't know about others)
These ones and some more specifically For Visual Studio:
Alt + Up/Down Arrow keys -> move line Up/Down
Select text and then use Alt + Up/Down Arrow keys -> Moves the selected text Up/Down
Ctrl + F -> Find a word in Current document/ Complete Solution
Ctrl + Q -> search for a File/Setting in Complete solution

A gamechanger video for me.
I saw this video few days later after purchasing my first laptop.
It was mid june 2023, I followed the steps he mentioned and by the end of 2023, I had crossed 100wpm and now my typing speed is somewhere around 120 -- 130 wpm.
Cuz actual struggle starts after 100wpm , and I don't have a mech keyboard, I still type on my laptop.

Thanks Harry , after watching this vid 2months ago in July starting i downloaded that trial app and learned touch typing and then started practicing my typing from type racer, after learning touch typing my speed at first went down from 38wps to 16-20 eps but now after practising a lot in the type racer website, my avg speed is 52-62 wps, my max speed which I reached till now is 73 wps as of 14th august. Imma keep grinding till I can, just came here to thank you and tell the new people that its possible.

Litteraly listen everyone, that when I tried to type 100% accurately after watching this video then I got up to 55 wpm while when I focused on the speed then I got only 35 wpm, I'm saying truth everyone, and this tip is logical that if you will not make mistakes you won't have to press the backspace key again and again and you won't have to rewrite the words again which will ultimately speed up your speed, so please focus on the accuracy and your speed will be increasing simultaneously. 🤗

This is stress buster when we start typing
Let's say, there are two people who are complete beginners to touch typing. Person A practices touch typing for 3 hours a day for 20 days, while Person B practices 1 hour a day but for 60 days. Ultimately, both people spend an equal amount of time (60 hours) practicing. Would both people have a similar level of proficiency in the end or would there be any significant differences between both people?
Small Improvements overtime will be more beneficial in long term so we can say Person B is smart
Yeah, there is no need to give 1/8 th of your day just to practice typing
Typing speed matters but not that much
I would say 1 hour until you reach 80-90 wpm & after that 15-30 minutes

The ammount of sleep wouldn't be the same, and sleep is a fundamental part of the learning proccess.
With that said, i don't have the answer, but i would choose the person who trained for 60 days.

I watched this video on 19 oct and started with typing master software. Could complete only 9 lessons out of 12 in the free trial. Then I proceeded with typing club website and completed 600/685 lessons in about three weeks. Right now I type with speed of 50-55wpm and 97% average accuracy. I have been learning from typingclub and now I can make 75 WPM.
I am an 8.5-year-old boy and I can type at 25 WPM in touch typing and I started it some time ago
and if I lay my back on the chair then my hands don't reach keyboard sad and I'm small so my legs dont go dowEdit- im 12 years old now, i type at about 53 raw and sometimes 70+ i started practising a few days ago
The biggest tip is always type with touch type
