Everything he has done has come from feelings of loneliness, isolation and a spiritual quest and I can resonate with that. One thing he doesn't suffer with is self doubt, he believes in himself and what he is doing and puts it out there whether you like it or not. I like the fact he doesn't play to the gallery which basically filters his audience as he believes in the quality rather than quantity of the way his Art is perceived. Unlike most Artists who do that mainly for the fame and fortune but he does it for the passion and a way of expressing himself to convey what he is trying to say to either himself and/or the World. He grasps the aging process in a healthy productive way which I thought would have depressed him but he accepts it graciously and doesn't seem to be afraid of it. He absorbs ideas from the most ludicrous remote crevices and turns them into atmospheric deep meaning, a very clever thing to do.A very unique guy. Even if you turned him inside out I would still be attracted to him and the way his mind works. RIP DAVID BOWIE hope I get to see you again in the next life xxxxx
He had a great voice - he had great vocal facility; an incredible range when he started and a good one right up into his later years; an amazing ear (he could imitate anything and anyone); a REALLY distinctive sound; his lower range was really rich and full; and while he says in the interview that he only became comfortable interpreting his songs when he was older, in actuality he had ALWAYS been amazing in his interpretations - they say the best singers are those who can act, and he was a born actor. So yes, he had an amazing voice!!
Yeah his voice is not talked about enough. I love the backing vocals he created. Theres some really good footage of him arranging vocals with the backing singers in the young American album
Very reassuring listening to him speak of how happy he was domestically and professionally. He truly was happy and that is what we all hope for as we age. Death will find us all eventually, I hope to be as content and satisfied with how my life turned out as he seems to be. It could have differently for him, considering the drug use of the 70's. I for one am so glad that he did not become a "rock 'n' roll suicide" and was able to span many decades and put out great music throughout! God bless you David Bowie.....for how you have touched so many lives....even now...almost 4 months later, your loss is almost unbearable....thank you for your music....thank you for your inspiration....thank you....for coming to meet us....and blowing our minds. RIP Starman....

He was a consummate performer, a great songwriter & always seemed to be years ahead of his time. His music was cerebral as well as heartfelt. He's sorely missed but his music will stand the test of time & he has influenced many artists & I believe will continue to do so. We miss you David. 🤘❗
