Top notch video. They sell a kit with that rotor fins and both filters for 30$ at menards. Took mine apart to find that the rotor was fine but the fins had wore out. Been using it for 7 years first time i had to fix it or change filters. 🤷. Great video tho
Both times it has happened to me it was just the rubber fuel and air lines splitting, really easy fix just go take one of the lines to your local hardware or auto parts store and just replace both super simple and cheap
Had this same problem and Error code E1, after watching your video I found the fuel and vacuum lines were cracked and the rear one completely fell off. Checked the disc and it was fine, after putting new fuel lines on the heater it fired right up and works like brand new. Thanks for your help
I have the same heater, it runs with the top off, but not with it on. Im about to take it apart and see if thats the problem, ITS A BRAND NEW HEATER! not even dust in it yet....... thanks alot
Hi from Ireland have one the same heater looks a shitty setup ok mine hasn't fell to bits yet, cleaned the reeds with scotchbrite and carb cleaner, going again, thanks for upload.
I was getting e1 and the piece of shit wouldn't light but today I took the cover off and it fired right up and set the cover back on and it stopped and did a e1 again and took the cover back off and works fine, so I put some hinges on one side of the hood and leave it cracked on one side as it was pushing to much air causing it not to light. I could never get low to work but now both hi and low both work and fires up every time.
I had no issues until this year. Had mine for about 4 years. Just put a fresh batch of diesel in the other day and fired up the machine to heat the garage. Went inside for about an hour and noticed a strong fuel smell leaking into the house. I have worked with this unit many times and that is not common. I opened the door to the garage to a thick fuel smoke. I even thought that maybe someone hit the remote start on my truck (also diesel) and it just filled the garage. The Dyna-shit was had shut down and the light was flashing. I tore the whole damn thing apart, cleaned the fuel cell with alcohol and a swab, cleaned both air cleaners, cleaned the fab blades (not much dust buildup). The part that had shattered on yours was still in tact so I fired it back up with the cover still off. Ran fine so after about 5 minutes, I left it running and gently started putting the cover back on. Within 30 seconds of putting the last screw back in, the damn thing quit again and began smoking. I hit the switch and the smoke stopped. Not done with the repair yet but I am hoping it was just an older can of diesel that I filled it with by accident. About to run and get some more as the temp is -10 F and I want to get some work done in the garage. I will drain the remaining fuel in the tank and see if that works. To your point, I have seen the same issue you have had on many videos. Parts like that should NOT go bad. For the price we pay for the products, nothing should.
Mine was doing the same thing it appeared to be blowing too much air for the fuel and I replaced all the fuel lines cleaned the pump and installed new filters thinking that should fix my issue and I reset the fuel pressure to factory recommended pressures it still did the same thing I then thought to maybe restrict air flow some and the easier way I could think of was to flatten the pitch of fan blades some I took the fan off set it on my flat bench and gently pressed down on the blade to adjust the pitch I took about a third of it out then installed fan and gave it a try been working perfectly for two years now
Did that end up fixing it by replacing the rotor? I have a Master brand heater, same design and have a cracked rotor. Just ordered one but was curious if that fixed it.
Runs great with the top off, shuts off when I put the top on??? Mine worked great for two years. This season it tries to light, flames out with a puff of smoke , then shuts off. I tried everything I found on TH-cam channels. No luck. Runs great when the cover is off, shuts down when the top cover is in place, not even screwed down. I noticed the fuel hose was cracked back at the pressure gauge. Who would look there? When I put the cover on it was creating a low pressure at the fan intake causing a flame out via a leak in the hose. Replaced both hoses (different inside id) and it runs great.
I bought my heater last year black friday ( master brand from Tractot supply) never been used once. Went to fire it up other day and get an E1 error code. I did put diseal in it last year but I doubt the fuel is already bad. Anyway sucks it's brand new and won't work lol
mine when I bought it(facebook market place), the hoses were all cracking on the ends..... I cut off ends and attached em however(barely long enough) just to test, worked; went over to Canadian Tire(automotive store) and bought windshield wiper rubber tubing, redid the whole thing(added zip ties to try to help it not crack on the ends so easily) and it's been working good since...... I did check the pump but it was looking alright(personly think I will probably rig it with a needle valve and run it off a compressor if it ever goes bad)
I guess it's a good thing that you aren't in sales for a living because your "100% guarantee" was wrong! My ignitor was unplugged. There are two cables going to it, and it still made the ignition "noise," but only one of them were plugged in. After simply plugging it in, it worked
4:00 Time. Good take, on just another ' chinacheapie ''. WHEN you install that new round, rotor ; Adjust the outer ring, to be 5 thousandths, of an inch, away from the ROTOR, (use spanner gauge ) ON THE tightest circle of its' travel. This, will ensure a good 'seal' between the compressor, and the outer ring. Anyway, good take, on another modern well designed, but manufactured with CHEAP parts. (old guy)
Hhhmnmm I wonder if that's what's wrong with mine. It spits and sputters and smoke and throws fuel out the front. Took apart cleaned tank out checked fuel lines and filter. Only ran for one season and when it did run it was real fumey. Tried playing with the pressure didn't help much.
You are so right about Dana glo pro and sell something you can buy parts anywhere thy sell this product thats fuck no has parts and less you get on line
What I watched of your video was very informative. I had to turn it off because. Of the language was watching it with my son. Who is younger. Wasnt expecting all that. Not dogging you at all brother. I understand shop talk guilty of it myself. I just don't around my kids. Just food for thought man. Thank you and have a good day.
I've repaired alot of those and never found that part broken like that. Those just don't break for no reason. All they do is spin around and force the air into the injector housing. It is an easy fix however. They are a good product and are well built. You just got unlucky.
Things breaks when you use it...and it also breaks when you don't used it! Companies money greed find ways to save money for the most profits! Probably (or probably doesn't exist) that same or similar heater built in the USA will break down as well with normal use or stored in unfavourable conditions...but you pay more for it!
I bet that's what happened to mine! I was so pissed, I ended up giving it away. I wonder if the guy I gave it to watched this video. I bet that was the problem! It cost me 500 bucks at home depot!
I have a 120 BUT similar Kerosene heater and it worked perfect last winter. Now I tried it here in Nov of 2018 and it powers up, cold air blasts out but no heat and it shuts down and shows an E1 error. I even dumped the fuel and put in brand new fuel thinking that my last year's fuel went bad However no difference and I only use the best clean Kerosene. Never nothing else and its about 5 years old and probably used fin total of 20 hours max. Is the E1 Error telling me what could be wrong?
I took the screws out of one side of the top cover , shined it up and left an 1/8 crack, screwed it back down and it runs perfect now for like 2 years, it ran with that cover off , but wouldn’t light at on with it installed, that’s how I arrived at that solution.
Thanks for the link for the part that broke off the back of the fan? Did that make it so no lights came on showing that it has power? Great video by the way. You have over 1000 views, telling me you are right on a shitty product.
Its Monday morning dragin ass thanks for the info and even more so the sprit and honesty of just plain and simple fuck it its a peace of shit lmao God damn Its going to be a kick Ass day .
Did it have code ( e1). ? Mine slowly gets colder and then cuts of into cool down mode. Before that started happening it would begin the start up cycle and just pour diesel out the front of the fan housing and if by some miracle it would start, holy shit it was like an after burner on a jet engine till the excess fuel burnt off. The pos sat in pieces for a year thinking the igniter module was faulty. Decided to throw it back together for one last go and guess what, the fkin thing runs fine for about two days..now it sounds like it's slowly running out of fuel. Both faults had e1 code.go figure. Tried to ring the company in China to get some help to fix it,but they don't speak English lol. Joking of course.zero fks given from manufacturers and the wankers that import this shit. Don't get me wrong if it was $100 or $200 or $300 I would just bin it,but where I come from these little fkers are $1400.00 new.

Yes sir which part would you like...I need one of those deals

Yea Helped me get to the maintenance on my year old unit. Just another yearly thing now. Instead of the fear of the unknown!
I was about to buy one now and that E-1 came out and did not buy it after seeing this vid. Thanks 👍
This video was hilarious, I hate we have to have such a hard time with these

Hi from Ireland have one the same heater looks a shitty setup ok mine hasn't fell to bits yet, cleaned the reeds with scotchbrite and carb cleaner, going again, thanks for upload.
Gonna try that buddy thanks for your help might just be that yes !
Do you know where the spark is to light it?
I was getting e1 and the piece of shit wouldn't light but today I took the cover off and it fired right up and set the cover back on and it stopped and did a e1 again and took the cover back off and works fine, so I put some hinges on one side of the hood and leave it cracked on one side as it was pushing to much air causing it not to light. That was our problem 🤙
What’s the name of that part
I have the exact one that you have and also same issue!!

I work on a couple of different heater brands. Those vacuum pumps are always breaking.
Did that end up fixing it by replacing the rotor? I have a Master brand heater, same design and have a cracked rotor. Just ordered one but was curious if that fixed it.
Where can you get that part from?
Where can I order the part
