- Chef Boy-ar-dee Party Pizza Kids Toy Oven - Light Bulb Baking! Here is an oven I have wanted to show you for along time. I finally was able to find one complete with all of the parts. I thought it baked really good. The crust edge was not crispy, but the bottom did get crispy. It makes a pizza larger then an Easy Bake Pizza. Which of my two pizza's did you like more?

Thanks for demonstrating this! It just doesn't look like its built as good and tough as the Easy-Bake ovens. I'm glad that Chef Boyardee still makes their pizza maker kit. My mother used to make us hamburger & pepperoni pizzas all the time with it back in the 60's and 70's before we discovered takeout and frozen pizza.
+wildbilltexas Glad you liked it. Definitely not like an Easy Bake. I do think it has some nice features for a toy pizza oven.
BTW have you ever used a meat thermometer to measure what temperature these ovens operate at?
I'm in the market for a laser temperature gun and will probably check that on the next round of ovens.

I like a combination of veggie and meat, they go well together, I also like pineapple on my pizza, it adds a weird flavor that fits with the pizza.

fantastic toy! I wish I had one when I was a kid. When I was a young kid, the chef boyardee pizza kits were very popular. My mom added all sorts of toppings. Very good memories. This would be so much fun to play with.

To think that using light bulbs to bake actually makes much more sense than using lightbulbs to make light... crazy.. a lightbulb produces 5% light and 95% heat.

I watch it on a 1080P Screen, since TH-cam 4K is like 1080P with Anti- Aliasing. So It makes it better
I use that pizza kit too and in small letters it reads 'for crisper crust let rise 25 minutes' Yes, it's longer but it taste even better.

Just watching some older videos..... I always put my bowl of pizza crust in the sink and filled the sink to half way up the bowl with hot water.... rose the crust quite well!

I need one of these ovens just to display. I've made these kits for nearly 30 years. Addendum: mix everything together add some shredded cheese form into balls and bake normally. tada pizza hamburger buns.

That ikea cheese grater was very common in the early 2000. My mum had it in blue with two grate sizes and a lid for the container. Also, ham and pineapple is my go to pizza.

How was the Ditka brand sausage?
You can get a new one of the cheese grader from Ikea. They've been there a few years now, I think my wife and I bought ours maybe 3 or 4 years ago now, really handy for grating things neatly.

This is crazy LP'S Dave! Light bulbs are not for cooking, If worst comes to worse you can grill pizza with tea candles which is not as child friendly but actually works and your children will not get sick from food posting.
