In this video, we look at uncertainty. First we explore what is meant by the idea of uncertainty and then we look at how to calculate uncertainty for a set of measurements.
This video is based on the AQA spec. If you are following a different exam board then you should check your specification. The Amazon link above is an affiliate link. Thank you so much freesciencelessons. Thanks to you I achieved a grade 9 in my Phyics and I used all of your videos to revise !!!
Hey Sir! I'm a University student studying Law and Economics - my GCSE science days are long behind me. But the impact your videos had on getting me the grades I needed to get where I am is something I'll never forget. I only wish you made videos on contract law so that they could help me for years to come. Thank you.
hi Shaun how’s life
Very well. Thanks for asking.

@@Freesciencelessons hi, could you possibly explain why iodine + phosphorus is PI3 and not PI5, as phosphorus has 5 electrons in the outer shell so surely should need 5 iodine atoms to combine with, not 3 ?
Thanks for the recaps on science ! Helping alot with upcoming tests and exams !
All of my 3 siblings have used your videos they are amazing thank you so much they help me so much will be watching all the way to my gcses'
thanks for helping me!
i love you big daddy shaun
Can't believe I might just be first😮
Thank you Sean, I was just still thinking range has the same meaning in math and science, now I'll remember not to make a mistake
You are the first. I can confirm it.
Hello, Thank you for all your work with these videos. Could you please tell me whether there are guidelines about the number of significant figures to which the uncertainty should be quoted?
Hi Sean. Have you ever considered making synoptic videos linking paper 1 topics (+paper 2 topics separately) together for gcse?
Thanks for making these videos
ur vids are on top
Hi Mr. Freesciencelessons (sorry I don't know your real name). You basically carried me throughout my o levels (I was self taught, didn't go to school). You're partly the reason I have A*s in Chemistry, Math, and Biology. I am now in A levels and I benefit greatly from your chemistry videos but I'm very weak in the physics department. Do you have any plans to make A level physics videos?
Regards,
Ibrahim Vardag
Hi Shaun i have a chemistry paper 1 test tmmr and i havnt revised, any tips?

When I did GCSEs (I'm now doing A-Levels) I don't remember doing this, is this a new topic they added?
No it's been on the spec since 2016.
you are such an icon i hope you know
Hey, how did you work out the mean?
Add the values together and then divide the total by the number of values.
