Day two of our adventure as we paddled down the river Tim with a little bit of fishing. There are some exceptional days to follow over the next few weeks, so be sure to check back soon. Thank you all for watching, commenting, likeing etc I really appreciate all your support and feedback. Paul
aaaah take me back buddy!! What a beautiful camp site despite the size. We were all nice and snug on that one! Mate you had an awesome fish on, was a good size for sure!! Was painful watching you messing with the drag... definitely felt your pain losing that one! Beautiful ending too with he music and suspense as to what's coming ahead... Looking fwd to seeing more mate
Thank you Eze, luckily you were there so we didn't go hungry 😂 20+ year old reel, so can forgive it for being a little twitchy (well, that my excuse my and I'm sticking to it) 😂 Was enjoying those feisty fish even if they were a bit tiny.
😂 Did feel like that at times. Nah, it was a nice balance, but we had a few long days and it made filming a little difficult as the light faded, time is limited for all the camp choirs. Thanks for watching, Paul
Thanks Si! Was a few lengthy ones had to do 9 one day 😅 did get a bit easier once I'd eaten through a few days of food. Truth be told I don't mind a bit if a struggle. There's a good otter experience to come, thankfully I had my camera this time 😁 Thank you for watching, Paul
Paul, it’s so great to see you again. And always great to see Matt and Eze. Great Trio! Great to see you guys out this way. You mentioned an airhorn for bears. That’s a great idea! That’s one place i really want yo check out! Challenge is I’m a sit on top kayaker so I’ve got some figuring to do on that one!😁. I like that canteen cup. Which one is that? Is that the bushbox twig stove? Hey, great stuff Paul and great to see you three together trippin in Canada. NQU
Hi mate and thank you! Carrying a sit on top can be troublesome, at least the ones I've had, except on a trolley, which wouldn't be practicle here. The canteen and cup is by boundless voyage it replaced my pathfinder one that I unfortunately dropped to the bottom of a loch 😭 but it is a great piece of kit! Glad you enjoyed the video, there is some great episodes to follow. Take care, paul
I am not aware of this. I just looked on the Algonquin official website and I'm struggling to find anything with reference to single use plastics. I knew that tins and glass bottles were not allowed, that is why I decanted the maple syrup into the plastic bottle. I assure you though every bit of rubbish I had left the park with me.

Great stuff Paul, I always wonder if it’s more hiking with a canoe then a canoe trip 😁😁. Great scenery though

Just catching up on the two films, love the poetic intros to both...not sure about the length of the portages. Too much like hard work 😃
Thanks Si!

You can’t bring single use plastics into the park!(gator aid bottle).
