Superb indeed, and a level of canoeing way above mine!!! I have recently done another couple of canoe trips with a vlogger, and it made me appreciate what goes into these films....a bit! This was huge. Thank you.

Thank you , was a bit more technical than my recent video trips. Generally I just film everything and worry about it when I come to editing 😂 not a great technique, but I'm getting better I think.
      Thank you for watching, Paul

If I'd known two of my favourite Tubers were stopping where I live. Id have met you with coffees and snacks at the end!
Great video. I'm looking to do a slightly shorter version of that later in the year when the water levels come back up.

Wow Paul!! Awesome trip! Did ur boat make it ok? Lotta rocks. Great to see Eze out there with ya and Fred. He seems cool. Good stuff Paul! Beautiful country. You guys have a lot more class and willpower than i do. Back in my drinkin days I would have drank most of those “free” beers. Well… i have willpower… but not so sure about class 😉😁.
I’m still immensely enjoying that firebox stove! I take it carcamping.
    Take care Paul. NQU

Great video & trip. Think you got the water just right, not too much or too little. Enormous erosion after the huge floods a few years ago - thought you were going to hit the steel sheet piling repair/protection at one point! Fantastic experience.

    • @WhenNaturePauls
      @WhenNaturePauls  ปีที่แล้ว

Thank you. Maybe slightly more water would of been nice, but it's gone right down now, so definitely can't complain. That metal protection came up fast, was waiting for the current to turn me, but it didn't 😂 I did give it a little tap. Thank you for watching

Hi, it's a Silver birch, broadband 15, not the high line. I had the inside coloured red, lacing and a sailing seat all done for me at manufacture. I've had the fortune of a week's paddling down there, mostly on the Iller (I think it was) such a beautiful location. Take care, Paul.

On the day we left it was 0.571 (low) at polhollick according to the Scottish canoe association website.

Didn't know there was a River Dee in Scotland, I thought it was in Chester. That could be confusing, I guess I'll get it if I remember, Scottish Dee - Cairngorms. Chester Dee - Cairngormless. Very apt, methinks.
I picked up on one comment though, 'eliminate the risk of getting carried away'. Try dating ugly women, usually does the trick.
Not sure your rush of new subs owes to my books at all, as I made the mistake of combining self-publishing with not having any money, and I think I only sold 30 of the one that included your channel.
Great video again, if I can share the files I'll send you the books on Instagram, your for free, but the risk of getting carried away is eliminated as they are for kids in Kazakhstan learning English, not quite Charles Dickens.
Thanks for the hour of escapism again! Cheers!

I believe there a five river Dees.
The book looks impressive though (judging by the cover) nice illustrations.
I'd definitely buy a copy if there is one available. My little girl loves books.
      Glad you enjoyed the video.

@@WhenNaturePauls In fact, if I write more stories I might write you into one of them, maybe the lads go on a canoeing trip and a mysterious stranger rescues them after they capsize on the Spey. I already decided to write Alan Soutar into one of the stories when they visit Scotland, so why not? But at this very moment I am still struggling to get the original targets met, not (I hope) because of reader opinion but because I can't (as a non-KZ citizen) sign contracts with the people who can sell en masse and it's been awkward to find ways into the market to be seen, without being seen.
