I love the area. I see you you have a lot of banana trees. Try not cut too many of them if you can help it. Keep the fruits and vegetables trees to have a garden and generate money.
You also mentioned about a pool which is a good idea. Think about a heated pool even if you don't have to use it now. It may come handy later for your dad. Now it's the time. Also five bedrooms with en suite aren't too much considering that you have brothers and other family members and friends. Later you may even consider to have a bed and breakfast. Request your contractor to use formwork for your columns, i've seen most contractors back there don't use it and it is very critical in construction.

Representing Lira Uganda 🇺🇬. My grandpa had a house like that in my village he built with money from WWII. Unfortunately my grandma tore it up during tough times around the year 2000 because the wall was falling apart.
Now I’m building a 3 room house in my village but it’s not as grand as my grandpa’ s house.
