Chloe Yi i have both and i definitely notice a difference. the beauty blender is softer and blends product in faster. also, the real techniques sponge lasted around a month for me, while the beauty blender lasted like three for me. :)

It is soft as well but denser than the BB and doesn't spread/blend product as well. So i realised i end up with a layer/mask of foundation when i use the RT even though i use the same amt of product.
Thanks for giving the scoop on the pre-order sale! I really wanted to try the sponge but was concerned about the price after the sili-sponge craze tanked so hard. This sponge seems to be the best of both worlds. I'm def gonna check it out!
This seems so cool!! Because it absorbs almost nothing I’m sure the lifespan of the sponge is much longer also! I don’t do my makeup very often (maybe 1-2 times a month) so it’s hard for me to replace my beauty blender so often to keep sanitary.

I always use the microwave method twoce lightly on my blenders in a row,and no joke,They come out Beautiful and Bright amd clean and last twice as long.
As long as you clean your sponge properly after every use I think it should be fine. I cut my sponge few times and nothing can get into it too deeply to the sponge. So... yah should be fine.
