Hi everyone! In today’s episode I try out the 16 Brand Fingerpens. These are multi-use makeup pens that you can apply anywhere on your face.
On another note, do you have any recommendations for lip balms? My lips get crazy chapped especially now in Autumn. I've tried a lot of products but only paw paw and carmex lip balm seems to help however, they make my lips peel a lot. If you have any recommendations, please let me know!
Also what are your thoughts on lip injections? Has anyone tried it? Is this something you're interested in knowing more about?

I swear, hair color can be addicting. Two years ago I tried out purple, it has evolved to different shades of purple to oil slick and on Saturday I'm going blue. My nephew thinks I am magic.

I have my hair dyed at the salon. I picked someone with a good reputation of coloring dark brown/black hair bright and bold colors. She always uses Joico, the colors turn out bright and they last really long. I last colored my hair in August, the color started fading last month.

meme_ ファティマ ザルメ Yeah, what helped seal in the color is I had a keratin treatment afterwards. The keratin seems to really make a difference in the longevity of the hair color, especially when using semi-permanent colors. She lightens my hair before she colors it, for darker colors to light brown, lighter colors to honey or platinum blonde. She always colors the roots of my hair a darker color than the rest, somewhat close to my natural hair color. As my hair grows, my natural root color blends easier with the dyed color so I can extend the time between recoloring until I have another keratin treatment. Keratin can last between three to six months. Once that fades so does the hair color. 😊

Because your lips are already so pigmented, do you mind using ur foundation to pat over them a bit to neutralize your lip color? That way we can see the actual color of the products. They all kinda look the same since ur lips are so bright already. Which u are blessed by, by the way lol. My lips are so dull naturally.

This could be good for younger kids who are starting on makeup or just want to play with it. i started getting interested into makeup when I was 10 and my eyeshadow experiments were scaryyy. But I did succeed once with a really shimmery look i'm still proud of.

It's so pretty on your face. I liked the orage, the peach one? and some of the colors. It's also really cool that they look like regular markers. As an asian, and because some schools don't allow make up at school, we can definitely hide them well because of the packaging 😂
My only issue with this is I don't feel that the applicators are very sanitary. They also seem like they would get dirty really quickly.

I agree, depends on how sanitary you are. My problem is that reapplying wouldn't be sanitary, unless you can go to a sink to clean the surface before reapplying.

I love the concept of these pens. I always loved versatile makeup... Years ago I was putting red lipstick or blush on my eyelid and coloured pencils on my eyebrows. When I was younger we had not all these colors and we had to improvise

Pink looks very flattering on Tina. I can't pull off any pinks a I just go for peachy reds or peachy tones or dark reds or plum colors I can't pull off bright reds either.

I'm very over lip injections. I don't really wanna hear about them and I don't think they even look particularly good on anyone cos it's super obvious for one. There's a million and one videos about it as well. If you wanted to try it, go for it. You definitely don't need it and I guess that's what bothers me about lip injections. people do it cos they can and not necessarily cos they need it or it'll enhance their lips. I'm just not a fan of that particular artificial enhancement.
Anyway, great video. Some of the pinks look really good as lip colour but the contour shade was a bit weird in colour for me. :) xx
I agree with you. Tina has full, well shaped lips so she does not need lip enhancements at all. If she did it, it'd look artificial. There are people out there with thin or no lips whom it might help, but not Tina.

I use EOS (but you have to apply constantly otherwise your lips will dry out even more), Burts Bees because it’s organic, and Vaseline because it’s not infused with scents that other makeup brands use so it’s all natural (it’s a jelly that many doctors recommend)

Seeguls I think it's because her lips became dark due to all the swatches. So the lip shade wasn't as visible because of how dark her lips became.

TANU SINGH naturally melanated lips are beautiful! Most lightening treatments are harmful anyway, don’t let anyone tell you your lips aren’t as gorgeous as lighter ones
routine scrubing your lips and always use lipbalm / honey on your lips.
Baking soda and a water paste rub it on your lips works wonders

So, I like putting a think layer of Vaseline(petroleum jelly) on before bed. That morning I rub it off with a towel, and then scrub my lips with brown sugar. After it is all of, get coconut oil and rub it on your lips. Leave it on for 10-20 minutes. Now you cane take a shower, or wash it off with a wet towel. I like to use Burt's Bees tinted lip balm. I feel like the original clear balm makes it more sticky(I don't know why it is) and I would rather have a dryer finish than a shiny, wet finish. I also choose Burt's Bees tinted lip balm because they are all very natural colored, they smell good, and they travel well. They go on smoothly and they don't melt easily.
I hope you try this someday and like it. Even if you don't try this, good luck on the other recommendations!

Tina for the dry lips what I find really helpfull is no so much the brand of the lipbalm but the way to use it, for example I need to apply warm water in a cotton pad an leave it for a few minuts until the lips are soft and then exfoliate mixing something like almond oil and sugar in to an other cotton pad, rinse and put a wax lipbalm or any other that is thick and doesn't absorbs so quickly, then at night after cleaning my teeth and before I go to bed, reapply the lip balm. hope it helps :)

DEFINITELY try the "lip blooming lip balm" by the brand Comfort zone!! Its re-plumping and anti aging!! Which most lips can definitely use!
Oh and Tina please do not get lip injections. Your lips are already sexy as they are. Proportionate enough. I am visualizing you with thick fat lips and I don't think that would suit your features. Your features are beautiful as they are already. Like me, many of your other subscribers surely already appreciate your natural beauty with or without makeup. So to enhance or change what we see as perfect as they are, is abit upsetting. Nonetheless, if that's what you desire, I'll just be happy for you.

Vaseline is my new life saver. I’ve been looking for a good balm forever and now I just carry a little pot in my purse. They sell a mini pot in the US, but I just scooped some into an old eye cream container. I probably apply 2 or 3 times a day. Also, the Orange pen looks AMAZING on your lips.

I'm literally watching this video two years after it was uploaded
I have naturally full lips and they get horribly chapped during the winter months and from constantly licking my lips to wet them. I always used different balms, carmex solid balm and the tube balm, all sorts of different versions of chapstick, different versions of blistex ( I still use blistex lip vibrance spf 15 lasting color total care; just for a pop of color), burt bees, and the vaseline tube balms. Recently I received a sample from Ulta of Ulta brand Ultabeauty Juice Infused Lip Oil; and I can honestly say its a life saver and even works great as a moisturizing gloss over matte to creamy to glossy lip products. No more cracked lips or split lips ever since I started using this product daily. Anyway hope this helps.
also if you're wondering what's the name of her unicorn/mermaid hair colour, it's BEIGE PINK WITH PURPLE HIGHLIGHTS (idk if she asked for dark roots or if the colour just came off in the roots).

If you haven't found any good chapstick yet. I have the best result with Aquaphor. I use it 2 ways. I add some sugar for a sugar scrub. After that I apply some before bed. During the day I use straight shea butter.
Most store bought chapsticks actually have products that cause the chapping to get worse. It also causes peeling.

Tina, I use a few different lip balms that are amazing here are a few: Burt's Bee's lip balm, E.O.S lip balms, and I sometimes just use strait up plain Coconut Oil for my lips

Those would be perfect to throw in your purse for emergency makeup /touch up products on the go. When you're rushing out the door to work/class or you're out & about, and you need to do your face quickly. I would invest in these as purse make up but I doubt they come in tan shades being Korean products, but the lip and high lighter products look nice ☺
hey tina... u could use nivea lip balms... thera are many flavours like peach cherry etc... but if u have serious dry lips then u can use nivea original lip balm... it helps a lot... in the winter my lip sort of cracks... i used it and i got rally good results.. u can even apply it before ur lip makeup
