    Nice flying James. I have the original plane and it really flew well. Just up graded to the high performance system and I love the sound. Cannot wait to fly the up graded version. Thanks for sharing.

    Hey the crash entries are already done you can't enter late! That little A10 sounds pretty good! It certainly looks like it's easier to fit in a car then it's big brother!

    Buy the eflite model of it. It has stronger landing gear because this nose gear will wear down easy on any field. Mine ended up ripping out.The paint also chips and cracks on the wings because there is no suspension on the gear. It flys well but a BNF eflite a-10 with stronger gear is well worth the extra money.

    Great flying James. I'm very surprised with the flight time with the twin 64mm. I would think on 4s she would be a little on the heavy side. Great flying A10 by the looks of it.

    An acrylic grey glaze will work great dulling those lines down a bit!

      @@MotionRC Hey James, varnish clear coat over what you've done, then use Vallejo acrylic glaze with your grey color choice over all areas you want toned down. You can then use a damp brush, cloth or sponge to remove around details you want to keep. What you did is a perfect starting point to an awesome result! You got this!

    Did you have to add nose weight? With a 3600 in mine it is still tail heavy. Looking at adding 3+ ounces to the nose. Seem right to you guys?????

    Hey guys. I'm going to maiden my A10 this weekend. This thing has crazy travel on the ailerons. So I've tamed them down. Do you suggest it flys better on the lower rates??

    How complicated/easy is the installation of flaps?

    • @MotionRC
      @MotionRC  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not hard, the servo pockets are already molded, so you need just glue in the servo, then attached control horns and cut out the flap which is already molded for it. I plan on making a video of it soon

    Would this be a good “first edf”?

    • @MotionRC
      @MotionRC  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think so yes. By design an A-10 produces a good amount of lift and can fly slower and more stable than say an F-16 or F-18 etc. This would be good to learn how to properly land a jet too.

    • @MotionRC
      @MotionRC  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      But also our 70mm Rebel, Hawk or the 80mm Avanti, T-33 are great as well

      Motion RC oh okay! Yeah my favorite jet of all time is the A-10 and I just wanted to know if it wouldn’t take long to be able to fly one of these.

    My only two complaints on this plane are that the pilot figure is WAY oversized, and the Maverick missiles are poor representations of the real one (way too familiar with the real Mavericks). The pilot figure looks more like a sport jet pilot, and at the same scale as the plane, would be over 10 feet tall. I pulled the pilot out and replaced him with an action figure pilot I bought online, making a much more scale looking - and USAF looking - pilot. A 3D printed pilot figure could also be found that would look better.
    Oddly enough, EFlite has the same issue with their pilot figure. Theirs is also much too big for the scale of the plane.

    • @MotionRC
      @MotionRC  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's such a small piece that most manufacturers only bother to create a few options and use the one that may best fit it. To make a new pilot mold for every single plane would only drive the prices up.
