      It is a right yes but you have to claim it, you did pay towards yesterdays pensions and the NHS, further todays NI payers are paying for todays pensions, and NHS etc. today the average person will earn a little over 555,000. NI before Tory bribe reduction of 2p was 11% = 61.000 in NI contributions, if my old school math is correct ? Is just over 9 years of State pension thats without any contributions towards NHS etc, if you want better state pension and a fully funded NHS then pay more NI not less, stop killing services then moaning about the lack of.🤪

Only just applied end of last year for my SP at 66. I didn't know until I was retiring and a chance conversation with a manager, that I wouldn't get the full SP because the government had taken the SERPS part of the SP and was paying it into my work pension (as meagre as it was then and is even now!) had to use my pension pot to supplement my monthly work pension for the last 6 years.

      Of course it is….. and like the DWP wont sanction people first and ask questions later is laughable. Checking peoples banks without their knowledge shouldn’t be allowed full stop…. It will start with people on benefits then will spread to everyone else who is working, again under the guise of fraud prevention…. We can already see this happening with people selling on eBay as a side hustle it’s absolutely Bollox… my dad who is in his 70s has a hobby and sells what he makes on eBay for a bit of extra cash… but he’s hardly Donald Sugar…..he has worked all his life and paid into a private pension that he is already being taxed on, now they will want more money off him in tax if he continues to sell his items on eBay…. Like a 70 year old wants to be bothered doing self assessment tax returns every year for the sake of earning an extra few quid….. it’s getting pathetic…. Yet all these big business corporations get away with paying their fair share by moving their companies abroad or using tax avoidance schemes…. Here’s a whacky idea, why don’t they go after them instead of trying to crush the little guy….. oh yeah, I forgot, it’s all about control not fraud prevention 🤨

      According to the reply already posted, they will ONLY get a notification and dig further if a claimant has more money in their account than they're entitled to when claiming benefits. So, if you've got savings over £16k, the bank will notify DWP who will then stop your benefits because you're over the savings limit. It does NOT allow them to randomly check anyone's account (the bank keeps tabs) or what they're spending their money on.

      The DWP and other authorities can see every bank account you have because it shows up on a credit check through credit reference agencies like experian as well as car insurance comparison checks and house insurance comparison checks that you make. So they know about all your bank accounts and how many vehicles you may have as they are also linked electronically to the dvla and hmrc and they cross reference the data.
      keep your savings in precious metals held by yourself in a safe place or valuable tangible goods that will hold their value like artworks, antiques and perhaps some crypto coins that are still anonymous if you want to keep your privacy.
      However, the average benefit claimant and perhaps most claimants wont have enough money to heat their home or eat a balanced diet so having savings above the limit of £6000 where it starts to affect the amount of benefits received wont even be an issue that they are familiar with.

    If the DWP want to put £16,000 into my account they can snoop all they like. But on a more serious note, we work for about 50 years and put money into a private pension. Then when we retire THEY decide how much we need to live on. I have a small annuity and a small private pension that takes my earnings over the limit they think I need by £25 per month, so they take £5 in tax. But MPs claim more per month in expenses than most of us get. WANKERS.

    • @Bravada
      @Bravada 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      you should complain about your financial advisor, working 50 years and having a pittance of a pension. The tax you pay is the same tax threshold as anyone else, are you suggesting you should be able to claim a £5k pension per month a state pension and pay no tax? remember you paid no tax on your pension contributions while you were earning so you want to avoid tax due to a higher income while everyone else is paying tax at the national thresholds?

    Don’t let fear and worry get you down, as there is always someone worst off than you. I know it’s a struggle, but you need to love each other, and show love to those around you. Raise your vibration by feeling more positive. “They want to make you worry and be negative as it’s easier to get what’s on their agenda through, up and running. Do some research and stop listening/ reading mainstream media who are pushing this agenda. We are Sovereign people. Men and Women with rights! Time to show what we are made of! Is it sand or stone.
