My favorite is definitely "Don't Mess With Cthulhu", quick and easy to learn - similar to Skull with moments of high-stress risky decisions, but much more relationship-based, where the people you play with will significantly change how the game plays out.
Thanks so much! It’s one of my favorite genres! When I Dream seems like a party game but sneakily is social deduction and much less intimidating than other SD games with it being centered around clue giving like Codenames. Night of the Ninja is very new but it was created to fix the problems of other social deduction games so it’s very streamlined and quick with allegiances changing.
@@tabletalk4729 Great. I actually really like "party games" too -- another category that I think some people kind of look down on. I'll see if you have a video on top ten party games. :)
Regarding Unfathomable and Battlestar Galactica: both would greatly fit this list. And if you do not bond with the theme of Battlestar, go for Unfathomable. Battlestar is one of my favourite social deduction games, too.

Nice job, man. You're a likable young man, and I appreciated hearing about your list, as I really like the SD genre. Had not heard of #'s 3 & 5.

I’ll have to go for Unfathomable then but I’d love to try both.
Love me some social deduction games and love the list, but IMO nothing compares to Blood on the Clocktower.
For sure. As much as I love other social deduction games BOTC has almost always been the one to hit the table lately
What about veiled fate?
Excellent vid, plan to grab a few of these
A very good list. Those who never includes avalon didnt know how to put a list
Haha it’s a classic
I'm surprised you didn't talk about coup
I'm not really into social deduction games, but this is a great list for me to browse to add diversity to my shelves. Thank you. 😊
They’re great. But definitely not for everyone
If it helps, I am watching you but not the Dice Tower. Nice list!
Appreciate it!
Secret Israeli 😂
Try out SECRETS 😎
