I'm highly considering one of these for my work commute, it's 4 miles there and 4 miles back. Would you recommend this scooter?
I haven't used it for my work commute yet since it just came in the mail tonight but its pretty fun to ride. And my work commute is only 2.9 miles.
If u get it i would adjust the breaks first before you grab the break lever. The break lever is automatic and will grab a lot of the break "for a quick stop" even if u just slightly pull on the break lever

I ended up returning it because like others have stated, the front electronic brake was TOO strong and does want to throw you forward. I'd look for another in the same price range.
I returned mine because of this. My kids didn't want to ride it because the front electronic brake is too strong and does throw you forward.
hi, i bought this scooter and maximum speed i reached was 15mph, i thought it's maximum. but once i don't know what happened but it was accelerated up to 19mph and after few days again something happened and it has max speed 10mph. looks like speed limit was set up for 10mph max. Do you know maybe how can i turn off this speed limit? I've tried to contact 1plus support but no one answered
press the power button you gon hear a beep if you look at the screen its gon say 1, 2, or 3 depending on which speed you on

yes, make sure you are on 3rd gear for top speed. press the button for the beeps and indicator.

I’m trying to understand the breaks. There’s nothing in the manual that covers my question and I’ve not heard back from support. Maybe it’s a normal feature for scooters but this is the first and only one I’ve had.
When I get up to faster speeds when I first pull the handbrake, it feels like the scooters speed is cut down significantly and immediately. But not to a complete stop. Speed is maybe cut in half? At that point, even if I squeeze the handbrake all the way down, the break does not feel like it’s doing much of anything except may be very slightly rubbing against the wheel. But it absolutely is not bringing the scooter to a complete stop.
If I don’t go very fast speed, then that first half of what I experienced with the handbrake never happens. It just is always mushy and doesn’t really seem to do anything. It may be a kind of sort of adds a bit of resistance to the wheel which may slow it down by 0.002%?
The only thing I can think of is that this is deliberate to prevent users from flying off the front if they came to an immediate stop. It’s not safe, so the only way a scooter can break is by just slowing down, not actually coming to a complete without putting your foot on the ground or something?
Yes, the scooter is programmed to have an electronic braking feature that feels to me a 4 out of 5 power setting to slow down. I think it should be set lower because it's does not make for a fun or safe ride. And this is not in the manual. I learned that pumping the brake handle will enable the electronic brake on first pull, then the subsequent pulls are only the disc and calipers.

I wonder if this is something that can be added in the app. Since the app allows you to start the scooter from 0 mph without kicking off first, and allows you to have a cruise control and gives you the ability to lock the wheel. None of which you can mess with on the scooter itself.
@@MagnumDB unfortunately, the app does not have any options for this and I did already ask the Seller and they confirmed.

@@twosox467 I assume you arent talking about the break, but the other rectangular thing closer to the center. It just locks the handlebars down when folding it.
That is actually a hook that will clip into a holder on the back wheel mud guard when folding it.
I just bought mine and for some reason it won't turn on, do I have to charge it first and wait till it's 100%?
No, usuall it comes charged. I received mine today and I read in the manual to check if it turns on(I’m guessing to assure that there is no problem). Usually hold the button but you should never allow it to be on a dead battery
