I've been thinking about getting one of these, this was the most in-depth, practical use review I've seen so far, thanks. You definitely touched ona couple of points I've not seen mentioned elsewhere.
Awesome, thank you! A few videos after this review I switched to using the F100 as my studio keylight along with diffusion. It's done a great job. I just recently switched to a cob to have the F100 available for run and gun shoots again.
Then I would suggest that you reach out to Zhiyun about those fans. Mine has gotten some heavy use out on location and fans are still whisper quiet. Ran it last night on a shoot for about 2.5h (powered from a V-mount) Without any noise issues. So I would contact Zhiyun if the fans are noisy.

What a cool assistant you had with you on your shoot! 😉 thanks for letting me tag along
The best in town!
You liked that they went with plastic instead of another material like cast iron.
You made me laugh multiple times!
Thank you!
Thank you, I'm glad to hear this
Cool video ! Could you suggest a very strong RGB 60-100W one that is compact size lightweight and app controlled ?
You could check out the Molus X60 RGB, that's probably as compact as you can get. Amaran has a 100w rgb as well, but it's a regular cob size...
@@thomasfransson thank you. It's really a pity that the F100 tube is not app controllable.
It really is
Awesome video Thomas!
Thanks you
Super useful review
Glad to hear! Thank you 🙂
Have a great day
in terms of output, what would this be comparable to? A 60d, 120d, etc?
In terms of lumens, the 60d is probably going to be a tad brighter.
Looks like the short power cable is a common issue with lights...
True, seems like an easy thing to fix. Who will be first? ;)
so is this a new product? i just bought it but i thought this was old i see reviews from months ago
Yes and no, it was completely new to me until recently. There's also an earlier model of this light - F100C
Sorry but the fans are so loud. Event at low rpm they are making strange noises and at max mode they blow like hairdryer.
