15:11 BTW, Jarate is short for "Jar karate" it`s a form of martial arts, that based on throwing piss-jars at people. *yes. this is actual part of the lore. sniper even got extended kidneys to produce more piss to master the jarate.*
Fun fact: Soldier was already an incredibly stupid and somewhat crazy man before joining the mercs, but after doing so he began drinking the local water at one of the bases. Which he was specifically instructed not to do because the water is full of lead. So as the story went forward he only got more stupid and crazy. Because he has severe lead poisoning. He also had his soul stolen by medic, but that's less important
Follow-up recommendations: - Game trailers - "Mann vs Machine" and "Jungle Inferno" - "TF2: Expiration Date" - pilot for a would-have-been TV series - "TF2: End of the Line" - one of the best TF2 fan-made films out there Also, much appreciated that you watched these in chronological order. It's always frustrating seeing reactions to the "Meet Them All" compilation, because it puts Sniper before Demoman, and I'm pretty sure everyone who sees them in that order ends up missing that the Sniper's shot took out Demoman's only good eye.
@@cgaminganims7046 Officially, a maximum of 100 player severs are supported. This means it doesn't necessarily have to be 50 v 50 depending on game modes and other stuff, but 100 is the max number of players officially compatible. Maybe you can surpass this limit with mods, since custom servers are no stranger to modding.
This is one of the few series Valve actually finished and one of the greatest things they've made. Spy's "No, that would be you mother" line is one of the greatest lines in video games ever. Also, the TF2 timeline is wild, so Soldier's story about Sun Tzu might actually be entirely factual.
That was a really good way to cover the copyrighted song. Best one I've seen do it so far. Also some fun facts: In the Meet the spy another tell that the Blue Scout is the spy is he was stuck at the intell door and didn't know the code which he should have. In Meet the Demo when they bleep him its supposed to be that the Scottish Government bleeped him because he revealed the location of Nessie. After the Meet the Medic there is a small percent chance that when the scout dies a dove will fly out. The Scouts canon name is Jeremy because of the writers working on the cancelled TF2 miniseries, after watching the Jerma is Mad videos
Regarding your statement that Scout should have known the code. This is only true if we assume he was actually paying attention to the briefing. He could just as easily been doodling.
Yeah spies my favorite, masterful storytelling from the jump. Like why did Scout not know the code, but *soldier* arguably the dumbest of them all did? Scout being super defensive over the pictures fits because he would but also spy could pretend easily since he truly cares for her as shown at the end. He also would be able to get to spy and prevent his appearance and copy him before even entering the base as Bones points out. *mwah* See more everytime you watch it.
and finally top 3 for me: Spy, Sniper and Engineer... or Demo, the last one swaps on mood. Was never good at the game and haven't played in years but yeah still v much active, recently had a huge botting issue which I *believe* got fixed?
Now that you've seen these, you might like to watch "Doctor Lalves" Team Fortress 2 Guides for playing the various characters. Even if you've never played Team Fortress 2 before, the guides are more comical than instructive (since I can't confirm how instructive they would be) so they should be (in my opinion) extremely entertaining to watch even without in-game context.
