Thanks. This helps. I have two 2018 Ruckus, and they're both coming up to their initial 900 mile oil change. I need to see that video on changing the oil screen, as well. In The Wind
@@SmallEngineVelocity I just got an older ruckus-first time owner-so this video was helpful and because of that I subscribed, knowing that your other videos will help me with the rest of my questions and future mods. Truly appreciate the content.
@@SmallEngineVelocity it definitely will get hot here this summer in Chicago! Either way I bought the wrong stuff cause I got the energy conserving stuff and it says not to buy that kind. Whoops!
Great Vid! I was just wondering since motor bike oil is like black going in, how do know when the best time to change it is? I'm a bike newbie and Im use to changing oil on my car.
It’s really more of a golden color and really you should change it regularly in a good time interval or if you do a lot of high rpm riding. Since it doesn’t take so much it’s cool to change it fairly often.
Hi I just bought a 2003 ruckus and it is like your with the old style gas tank. However it does not have a cover over the top of the engine like yours, do you know where I could get one?
I trimmed the plastics eventually , I am trying to remember but I had the full plastics and then at some point I trimmed the part that goes down to the tank.
Scooter Fiend it does but I put somewhere between .5 and .55 l . I find better performance with a little less oil. This is confirmed with the FB ruckus community and GET tunners :)
I noticed while watching this video that you have a gold or orange colored peg of some sort just below the seat frame bolts where the cap used to be that covers the bolt. Where do I get those???😮😃
For best performance.. most OGs recommend filling the oil to halfway up the hash marks.. measured by pushing (not screwing) the dipstick in. 😎
I started to measure for some reason exact quantities so I can repeat the process exactly.
Thanks. This helps.

Very clear direction. Super helpful video.
Thanks, not my most popular video but I’m glad it helped you :)

The the Honda ruckus at least 2018 dipsticks do not have a minimum and maximum fuel line is it in the middle of the cross hatch areas
The Ruckus Manual for my model from 2015 says to use 10W30. I just bought 10W30 should I not use this oil and get 10W40 instead?
I’m 10w-40 in super hot Texas , 30 is good too

This is perfect. My Iceberg Maddog is coming tomorrow and they say I need to change the manufacturer's oil and put in new oil. Looks like an easy job.
Its only a little different on the ice bear but once you see this video you get the idea. the MFG oil looks like cooking oil!
Okay, thanks...
Hey let
Me know what you think of the iceberg , I haven’t had to much feedback on it from anyone. Seems pretty good. Is it the 150cc?
Will do... It's a 50cc. I only want to use it for fun around my neighborhood.
So my ruckus is blowing gray smoke suddenly . What am I doing wrong ? (New rider)

You forget the screener my problem getting that thing out😊
Is this sketchy without a torque wrench?

hi do you have link for your frame sliders? thanks
Thank you for info. But can you explain why? 473ml and not the 567ml and will it hurt the motor? plz ..Its my daily drive
hey u know where I can get a new screen screw in the part u didn't do?. Mine got stripped and I need one for a stock 50cc
Bro good info. how often do you do this. thank you
For me every 800-1000 miles , it’s so cheap to do. Just don’t over fill it can rob power. Around 550ml
thank you for your videos!
Yo how often should i be doing this
I do it like every 800 miles but only because it’s cheap
great vid. keep em coming
Thanks pal, stick around and see what else comes out eventually.
Does the screen have to be replaced or just cleaned?
Cleaned
Doesn’t the dip stick say 0.6L which equals 600ml. That’s what I’ve been putting using a measuring cup for exact amount

You mentioned in the video you .5 quarts works best for you which is less than both these amounts. Slightly more performance for your at this amount?
