    when it comes to choosing your "u" you can use "LIATE" to know what to prioritize
    L-ogarithmic function
    I-nverse trig function
    A-lgebraic function
    T-rigonometric function
    E-xponential function

    For the problem at 22:30, you could also use u-substitution to make u = lnx and du = l/xdx. Then, the integral would just be u squared du and the antiderivative would be (u cubed over 3) + C. By back substitution, you would get (lnx cubed over 3) plus C. This is just a quicker way to do the problem for time constraints on a test.

    For the final example, the answer I got was:
    (e^(3x))/25 * (3cos4x+4sin4x)
    After bringing the 9/25 over to the right side, I cancelled in both of the coefficients, so I got 9/25 * 1/3 = 3/25, and 9/25 * 4/9 = 4/25. Then I factored out the 1/25 * e^(3x), which left 3cos4x +4sin4x. Altogether that gave me:
    (e^(3x))/25 * (3cos4x+4sin4x)

      i guess the 9/25 wasnt multiplied to 4/9 too so a different answer was made. the one you stated (e^(3x))/25 * (3cos4x+4sin4x) is correct

    the solution to the problem at 21:50 (integral of e^x sinx) really amazed me. using elementary algebra to find the antiderivative... something is special about that
