You are totally wrong! PAUL was the man who made them famous, and he had a charisma and stage presence that Bruce only can dream of. There is a lot of metal vocalist that sings in a similar way to Dickinson, but Paul was an absolute one-of-a-kind vocalist. Iron Maiden and Paul's unique voice was the most powerful, raw and perfect combination possible.
The Maiden Japan that is official is the one recorded at the kosei Nenkin Hall,Nagoya Japan,on may23 1981, There is one that came out in Japan which is an import that was recorded in the Sun Plaza in Tokio Japan which was recorded in May 24, 1981, which has the full concert 17 songs in total.
It is different yes because this is from the day after in tokyo...You can however buy all of the 4 japan shows that they played in 1981 from may 21..22..23 and 24th on bootleg called maiden japan vol 1..2..3 and 4 from tantura records but are very very expensine to buy...I have vol2 which is the proper full maiden japan gig where they played running free twice....
Bruce is a choke artist live, and Maiden was never the same after Paul and Clive left. Even The Number of the Beast, while a staple of Metal, lost the raw power and tightness of the original Iron Maiden.
woodsscottable it reminds me of how def Leppard riot scorpions judas priest lost that hard edge that was in their music from the late 70s to early 80s after it just wasn't the same. Maybe it was the booze coke ludes and lsd
this version differs slightly from the Maiden Japan 1981 version I've heard. nonetheless, iam proud to say that this particular version of Remember Tomorrow was the song that introduced me to Maiden and metal in general!
@anurabisu Thanks -thought I was losing it, I clearly remember this song on Maiden Japan having an incredibly great sustaining guitar solo at around 3:28 or so, been looking for that version but haven't found it yet. Thanks and take care.
The best version is by far on the Maiden Japan EP! Dave's 2 solos on here are absolutely sick! The blistering 1st solo, and that 2nd bluesy solo after Adrian's solo. I've listened to all 4 Japanese shows, but cannot put an ID on the exact version used on the EP? NONE of the versions have the bluesy solo in it! The 1st vicious solo by Dave mostly resembles the May 21st show.
@edpkrlct I noticed that!- you never once said "Mighty Saturn 5, whats your opinion" however I did indeed comment that your comment was an odd comment since I've never heard anyone command others to "respect my opinion"...do you live in Colorado and is your first name Eric?
Sick of people saying they had this on tape in the 80s etc. This is a different gig which was recorded on the 24th may 1981 but the original maiden japan e.p that they commercially released is from the day before on 23rd may 1981. Iron Maiden recorded all of there Japanese gigs from 1981-21st may-24th May. They picked the best recording and decided to release the E.P. Maiden Japan This is NOT from the Maiden Japan E.P!!!!!!!!!!
+JAMIE LESTER for fuck sake who has the original wikipedia 5 track and where can i download?....i have the original tape and i downloaded this version and i don't know whats what?!!!
@Itaiorg Interesting. I always thought Bruce did a good job of the Paul songs but I'm very doubtful that Paul would be able to make, say, 'Aces High' as good vocally as it is. I love them both but if pressed I'd say I prefer Bruce, but that is probably because he has more albums under his belt. Either way, Maiden rule!
@TheProgRock I agree, Maiden is Steve's band. I do like Paul's version of this song better than Bruce, but thats about the only one.......Up the IRONS!!!
anyone notice on the second verse, he fucked up thelyrics? should have been "out in the madness, the all seeing eye" "flickers above us to light up the sky"
@emgl100 yeah Nicko is a great drummer however Clive had a more progressive edge without sounding like he was trying too hard -especially when considering his average sized kit. Burr created many of the songs "feel" (akin to Danny Carry) which is more relevant to the song then speed of rolls or associated abilities. Being lucky enough to see both of them live I was far more impressed by Clive Burr due to the afore mentioned -of course thats only a single opinion, anyway have a great day.
Im just pissed off when I read all the fucking comments that who/what is the best! Someone said that Paul is better than Bruce, are you kidding me or what? Bruce is and remains one of the best singer, that's for damn he who made them famous (and I know that the killers are a very good album but not better than any album Maiden have released with Bruce) and What do you mean better live? Check out the example The Clansman Rock in rio 2001 where you should damn well get a look at live performances.
@Itaiorg No such thing as "Bruce's maiden" or "Paul's maiden"...IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN STEVE'S MAIDEN:):):).... but I agree with you, except that I think Bruce is God:)
@edpkrlct ...telling people "Respect my opinion" comes across as a bit arrogant, perhaps explaining your view without telling everyone your opinion is law might work better for making us see something we might have otherwise overlooked.
Bruce is Bruce and Paul is Paul, they cannot be compared. Paul is punk influenced and Bruce is pure heavy metal. Paul's Maiden is a completely different band from Bruce's Maiden. Bruce can't sing Paul's songs and vice versa. In my opinion, Paul is a better live singer than Bruce, maybe because his songs are easier to sing.
Paul's better than Bruce. Clive Burr is better than Nicko. But all of them have my respect and I like them too, cause all of them had their importance in the band. All of them are Maidens.. Respect my opinion.
Clive better one Nicko? even a joke, Clive was a really talented drummer but will not close to what nicko play ... The drumming is not just about speed, uton also will diminish as nicko has a lot of! PS. I'm using Google Translate...

Ms. you were there that night? tell me please.
you are so right mate Clive Burr forever
i bought "maiden japan" as a 5 song EP for $5.69 at record town back in late '81 or early '82, and still have my copy!
Nice buy 👌. I wish i had a copy . The first 2 albums are my favorite.
It is different yes because this is from the day after in tokyo...You can however buy all of the 4 japan shows that they played in 1981 from may 21..22..23 and 24th on bootleg called maiden japan vol 1..2..3 and 4 from tantura records but are very very expensine to buy...I have vol2 which is the proper full maiden japan gig where they played running free twice....
one of maiden's best songs. epic!
had the tape way back in 1983. AWESOME.
@Itaiorg RIGHT MAN....nothing else to say, simply this song is perfest this way.......
R.I.P Clive.
ezequiel silva to hail Mary
i first heard this version in 1983 summer, it still reminds me of that year forever, right on.
the best maiden song ever dianno really scores in this!
Bruce is a choke artist live, and Maiden was never the same after Paul and Clive left. Even The Number of the Beast, while a staple of Metal, lost the raw power and tightness of the original Iron Maiden.

Esta cancion es el aporte de Pual a Iron Maiden y por eso sera eterno.
this version differs slightly from the Maiden Japan 1981 version I've heard. nonetheless, iam proud to say that this particular version of Remember Tomorrow was the song that introduced me to Maiden and metal in general!
davey's solos r grand on this version =] love it =]
there's just something about the material with Paul. i had this EP on vinyl in high school. it still holds up well after all these years.
@anurabisu Thanks -thought I was losing it, I clearly remember this song on Maiden Japan having an incredibly great sustaining guitar solo at around 3:28 or so, been looking for that version but haven't found it yet. Thanks and take care.
woaaooo good is remenber tomorrow
Awesome !
amazine..

The e.p is from the 3rd Show on May 23rd 1981..But they overdubbed it which would explain the different guitar solo by Dave.
Clive Burr's live drum performance for this song is the best, in my opinion.
totally....im thinking WTF...that solo was a monster!! and actually made the song for me!
@LondonMuckShifters It is because Bruce sang this that he got the job with Iron Maiden
Vinyl sounds better than CD even on TH-cam.
I clearly hear "tears for somebody" is what he sings.Listen again.
@edpkrlct I noticed that!- you never once said "Mighty Saturn 5, whats your opinion" however I did indeed comment that your comment was an odd comment since I've never heard anyone command others to "respect my opinion"...do you live in Colorado and is your first name Eric?
Yes this is. All Iam saying is that the one I heard differs slightly from this one.
YA ESTAN EN LIMA
THEY ARE IN LIMA
Sick of people saying they had this on tape in the 80s etc.

This is NOT from the Maiden Japan E.P!!!!!!!!!!
I have the tape and it's obviously not the same gig. The vocals on the tape sound better than this version, imo.
Good thing you mention that. It seemed different from the EP. Even if it was a slight difference
+JAMIE LESTER for fuck sake who has the original wikipedia 5 track and where can i download?....i have the original tape and i downloaded this version and i don't know whats what?!!!
+mrpelon1000 I'd like to have that also!!!! I also have the cassette but its getting hard to find a good cassette player these days, haha.....
this next song is 1 i want you all clapping along to............its a song called remember tomorrow.

lol after the calm part they play way to fast
@MightySaturn5 I did not ask your opinion.
Isn't your comment comparing the two? People just say what they believe, grow up.
add the w.w.w. before
...
Im just pissed off when I read all the fucking comments that who/what is the best!

Dude the stereo sound on this is wrong the Guitars only 1 we can hear.

i dont like they speed the chorus up
wtf can post a youtube vid on youtube? i found the solo version!
