Be so so careful going into those old mines. Never touch the rock on the ceiling because you could cause rocks to fall down on you. My dad, who was a geologist used to take us into these old mines in the Okanagan, and that was always his rule for us.
I have only discovered your channel like a week ago but I have binged almost all of your videos! I love that you keep all the natural sounds and not put music over all the "dead air". I watch these videos for the nature, not the music.
I'm sure there will be a day you can catch and then clean a fish for dinner haha

I don't go into random mine tunnels anymore. Last time I did my dode g I almost got mauled to death by a female mountain lion with cubs. Luckily I had bear spray and my side arm as a last resort. No thanks, no more tunnels in the forest for me.

So cool to do mother/daughter trips. My wife, daughter and mother in-law have a sprinter and they travel around to all of the cyclocross races in the northeast in it and camp before and after. Babicka (Czech grandma) doesn't race but she is tough and she makes the fires and cooks and cares for the girls after races and adventures. There is something magical about adventure women and I'm grateful my daughter loves it. Rock on.

Greetings from Surrey, BC! Great video; I used to live on Vancouver Island, long time ago, in the 70s-80s, near Victoria and then in a little town called Sooke. We had crown land forest behind our property and did many walks back there with my siblings.

I've had two rv's I've picked up in the last few months. My brother wanted the first one i bought. The 2nd one was a 07 fleetwood 25ft. it was nice. I sold it the other day after messing with it for a couple weeks. I don't know anything about rv's or camping. It was kinda frustrating. People like you are impressive. Just get up and go. I am set in my ways as of now. Maybe one day i can do something different. Be safe out there in the wild.

Too funny! You need to bring a canary bird with you when going into old mine shafts! Good start to overlanding! with experience you will figure out what gear you need and what works best for you. Keep it fun and adventurous.

if you coming down near texas. I suggest trying big bend national park. My friends and I go every year in January. so many cool hiking trails, dont forget your bear spray though, and watch out for mountain lions if you in chiso basin area.
I think that platform overlooking the valley was built by hang gliders, so I think that’s why it’s slopes down

What sets you apart from other Hiking and VanLife TH-camrs is that you actually do stuff. You car is messy, there is nothing aestethic about your content. I mean that in the best way because I genuinely know that there is hardly any BS in what you do. Thats simply how Car Camping and hiking looks like if you were folming is. Keep going, Im here for it.

Just commenting on the one comment you mentioned about you not knowing how to fish or cook. It is great that you do try. I used to fish with my dad when I was little and also when I was a teen. I had fished for about 20 years now, but i've been wanting to. And the food you eat looks better than some of the food I take camping. I like your videos because it looks like you are having fun and make me want to camp more
