You've got the bracket from the wrong side of the van. The bracket goes between the petrol tank and the chassis. That was clear in my instructions, fitted two sets a few days ago, one to a SWB, one to a LWB and they were fine.
Middle braket, offside, SWB I had to grind about 1/2 cm of the end.

@JonCompass That is a possibility, fortunately I modified it and for the past year all has been fine with them. Appreciate your thoughts though.

I have just bought some from the same place. Fortunately for me all the pieces were in the box. The instructions that came with it, which are very basic, show removing the bolt from that bracket and fitting it under or over the bracket then refitting the bolt. This means the runner bracket fits without modification. I have a SWB so perhaps it’s different but unlikely. I assume the front of the vehicles are the same.

Hello. Glad to hear your runn8ng boards fit without modification. I am pleased with mine, and they recieve nice comments. I have noticed that they do tend to slant towards the body which means they hold water rather than running off.

Hi Roy glad you've managed to get the steps eventually fitted they really make it look eye catching .My transit had factory fitted steps on when I bought it otherwise I'd have been purchasing some and would probably have come across the same problem. Ps not had time to fit switches on interior lights yet with work commitments just lately the lights have been turning them selfs off after only being on 10mins don't know if this is a safety feature to stop battery drain as I've not been doing long journeys.

Hello Mark. Thanks for viewing and commenting. Other than the issues fitting I really like the running boards, they do make getting in and out easier and a handy little foot rest when sitting in the sliding door. I think 10 - 15 minutes for the lights is about normal, it's only really a problem if you tend to open and close the doors a number of times, without starting the van to give the battery a little recharge. The fitting of the light switches is a very simple job mind, no wires to cut and easy to reverse back to original should you desire.
