Brilliant tutorial, I was hunting all over the internet for the correct fuse to piggy back on to (Bearing in mind I am a total novice when it comes to vehicle electrics).
Even the simple things like showing us how to locate the fuse box and how to remove the front cover was so helpful (Again, to some people this is easy, but for a novice...not so easy!)
This made my life so much easier and the dash cam is now installed and working perfectly.
    Many thanks 👌👊

Nice informative video , helped me out greatly knowing only 1 panel has to be removed

Excellent video - absolutely spot on.
Advice/Warning - just attempted to fit using hardwire kit to my 2018 (68 plate) Ford Transit Custom and the fuses are MICRO 2 and MICRO 3. The Nextbase kit just comes with the standard and mini piggyback fuses so had to order a MICRO 2 piggy back fuse from Nextbase before I can complete fitment! Hope that helps.

Good stuff thanks. Are you disconnecting the battery or anything before starting or just keys out?

If the dash cams (front & rear) were connected to an ignition fuse. (like in your video), would that still allow a small amount to of power to be used for 'parking mode', or would that require a different connection? My vehicle is not used everyday and i have had my dash cam battery go flat. Thanks.

For this I. Would refer to the camera instructions - if should advise you whether it needs to be on an ignition live or a constant live

@@CarEnhancementsUK Thanks for reply mate, just to be clear, if its ignition live is it still number 16 as what i can see its only 5 amp, and if it is constant live then which one would it be, Thanks again mate.
