Smart, classy and gorgeous. You rock Marie. Thank you for introducing us to the fascinating world of skin care product formulation. Deep dives are also greatly appreciated as well.
Hi Marie! I'm a really big fan of you and your work BUT as a former pharmacy medicine maker ( assistant) I do really wonder if your lotions are always the needed end weight. Since you add the evaporated water when it is still warm your water will evaporate again! We of course were bound to rules about deliver the end weight which was sold to the patient. ( Custom made medicine) Which means we added the evaporated water at the far end of the process when it was cooled down because you also lose weight of the product when bottling it up! So my recommendation would be add again as far as possible in the process, before we need to check pH ( we never did that, only used Lanette sx at the time). Then add preservative when pH is right. Do take the tare weight from the beaker and spatula before starting process add the needed end weight and minus the preservative. Just think it over 😉, love alle the way from the Netherlands 👋🏻 would love to hear from you! Thank you none the less! You're awesome!
Marie, I have learned SO much about bodycare formulations via this channel and am really grateful for all the in-depth information you generously share here and on your blog. 💚
Hi Marie you are amazing... I will for sure become one of your patreons as off May. In the meantime I'm just indulging in your recipes. I took some already for myself 😊 planning on start my very small business in June so I'm dying to dive into your recipes ☺️ thank you so much for your work and for sharing with us. 💕 From the Netherlands 😘
Hi Marie! Thank you for another great video. I have a question about your experiences with Geogard Ultra. I have been using this preservative for over half a year now, and find that the resulting emulsions are really well tolerated, even by people with very sensitive skin, which is great. However, I have been made aware that because of the way GU works (releasing small amounts of acid over time), the pH tends to drift downwards over time. I can confirm that this has also happened for the emulsions I made. Unfortunately, the supplier cannot provide me with specific information regarding how to prevent this from happening (which buffer to use and how to incorporate it). It would be fantastic if you could do a video on buffering to prevent pH drift some time! :)
Will a High Molecular Hyaluronic acid and Candelilla Wax Lip Balm work?, Also I'f it does work what will be the better way to integrate it and which emulsifying ingredient will work better. I am having issues with it
I include the pH adjuster because I've already formulated, made, adjusted, took notes, and incorporated that into the formulation. I'm just trying to save you some time :) You are certainly free to take it out and start from scratch. Happy making!

I look forward to trying this with sweet grass hydrosol. I'm crazy allergic to lavender. Thank you for the notes in the blog post.
Hope you like it!

Could you formulate dewy serum just like glossier’s
I've started work on one 😃
@@HumblebeeAndMe I’m excited!
Please my emulsions is not always stable anytime I use this emulsifier. Any idea
I've detailed several reasons emulsions can fail/split here: www.humblebeeandme.com/faqs/why-didnt-my-lotion-emulsify/. Happy making!

Hello there I noticed u always add a ph adjuster to the formula! It this necessary or u can just write and formulate then add ph adjuster later
