@@inmhop3729 Your presumption that gaining the world necessarily means losing one’s soul. There is no inherent cause and effect between the two. Second, loving one’s self is absolutely not worldly, as Jesus Christ himself taught that we should love others as we love ourselves. We were created in the image of the Creator, therefore, that inherently makes every person worthy of love…from self and others. Inherent in your taking issue with my comment is that we should not love that which the Creator created….ourselves.

ALL the officials who allowed Lyles to run this race are more irresponsible than he! Would USA Track & field have found it so cool for a counterpart body from Btswna or another country to say the same of an infected athlete competing with healthy US contestants? Do they find it ok for him to be physically in contact with his competitors after the race?

Noah Lyles' confidence and self-affirmation-like calling himself the best and the fastest-are often misunderstood as arrogance. In reality, this self-promotion is a powerful tool for building mental strength and motivation, especially before races. Confidence is crucial for athletes, and expressing it openly helps them perform at their best. While many may misinterpret his confidence as arrogance, his charisma and antics bring an extra layer of excitement to track and field. He is an incredibly confident and talented athlete who makes the sport more entertaining❤🇯🇲

There are tons of athletes that are confident but don't act like an arrogant a-hole. Watching Lyles get his a-- kicked was the most satisfying thing I've seen in this year's Olympics. He's a punk!
