It was not an excuse. He did test positive for COVID 2 days prior to the 200m. However, not letting anyone know except his mom, coach, and officials is irresponsible as hell should have taken himself out of the race.

Would USA Track & field have found it so cool for a counterpart body from Btswna or another country to say the same of an infected athlete competing with healthy US contestants? Do they find it ok for him to be physically in contact with his competitors after the race?

You may want to rethink that if you saw some of his earlier races. He is just as arrogant as Noah how he put it if not more. He probably doesn't talk much as Noah because no one can make out wth he is saying.
That’s not a fair statement. We understand what he said very clearly. Noah needs to calm down. He is a great sprinter but it’s almost unnoticeable because of his mouth. “ SILENCE IS GOLDEN”

This was not good. Seeing those health workers interacted with him in close proximity without masks on directly facing each other, that was not cool. Not to mentioned the after race congratulatory words and hugging without protections especially when runners are gasping for air to restore their natural state of calmness.
