I've seen a round where everyone died except for the guy who was supposed to sacrifice himself. However, apparently he never played San Sebastián before so he proceeded to hold out on his own for a a minute and 17 seconds before dying instead of throwing in the towel, and we all were just baffled
I once was with my friend who was trying to sacrifice for the badge. When we both got to the lift, he tried climbing up but had his sabre out, so another officer climbed up and stole his sacrifice. A priest and a surgeon followed him. I noticed that there weren’t as many zombies coming from the castle-side, but didn’t think much of it until I realised that the Surgeon, priest and officer survived the sacrificing while *we were getting forlorn hope*. 8/10 stole a sacrifice but I can’t complain
I remember playing g&b once on vardøhus, at the end when we were on the dock just before the ship arrived, an officer used charge to lead the horde to that artillery thing and saved us all.
Dam I remember in San Sebastián once it was just me and one other guy, and we were getting overran slowly but surely and then I ran out side with my crucifix becuz they broke our walls and then the crucufix ran out, the boat was coming I ran far out and bring the zombie with me and sacrificed myself to give him time
I remember being a Old guard sapper and going to lower the lift for the badge but 2 other people went wtih me up and unfortunately missed it when I lowered the lift, so I built for dear life and we 3 held out for the entire time stalling the zombies up there

For some reason one time in g&b, my friend asked me to sac for badge, i tried to but uh 3 people more just came in, in short we protected for atleast like 50 seconds right when the boat arrived, we, well, died.
i sacrificed myself and got vos enterrement badge but i went down the thing where barry died and there werent that many zombies so i jumped down the hole in the wall but my legs didn't break and i won that round and got forlorn hope badge all in one match
I just build a dose barricades and continue building new ones and repairing old ones. Usually it buys enough time to keep the zombies rushing me from going to attack everyone below

I'm pretty sure I was the priest. I remember being too late for the lift so I went up with the officer and surgeon and we managed to survive
