Glad they didn’t make the large DRL the turn signals; it would’ve been a left arrow indicating to turn right lol. Same mishap as the Mini Countryman rear indicators 🤓

Maybe they couldn't make the boomerang the turn signal because it would look like an arrow pointing in the wrong direction. Might be confusing in a rear view mirror at night.

I kinda like the idea of the shared control panel that switches between general buttons and climate control; but I think it would be better if there were ridges in between the 'buttons' to make it easier when reaching without looking. Just a little bit of definition between the button touch points.

Cool seats are better than my accord too! Yes it works great. No heads up display but that screen, u won’t even care. No heated seats on the back but in Florida it didn’t matter. Kind of interesting on my personal preference of EXTERNAL looks - but I actually go back and forth between Kia and Hyundai when climbing the SUV size chart.
    K Seltos
    H Tucson
    K Sorento
    H Palisade
Never been a fan of the Kona.
Seltos obviously has some slight Kona influence in parts of the body (not surprising) but it kind of looks like a Sorento and a Rogue had a baby.
Tucson is just flat out amazing (purely my opinion )and the Sportage just has too much….. funk I guess you would say, for me anyways.
Sorento was very well designed and I love the DRL’s!
Santa Fe has some attractive points but the grill just doesn’t do it for me.
Telluride and Palisade is almost right down the middle but I favor the Palisade ever so slightly. (Although I’m a little unsure about the new facelift of the ‘sade)
All-in-All, from my perspective, these sister brands should be proud of some these designs they’re producing for the varying segments.
Yes, there’s no argument that there tends to be a sense of controversy in quite of a few of their designs (this Sportage is a clear example)… but, honestly, that’s something I’m okay with. I’d rather have these companies push the limit and experiment than to simple blend in.
I drive down the road and 90% of the time - the mainstream cars that catch my eye are from Kia and Hyundai. (My favorite to see in the nighttime is the Tucson)

So it was over $49,000!! OUTRAGEOUS!!! Plus they had another sticker that added several thousand dollars more of just BS crap! The engine is definitely underpowered for this class of SUV. Making it 7 inches longer was a very good thing but by doing that they also added weight . It takes nearly 10 seconds to get from 0 to 60 which is a severe strain to the motor . The vehicle also has a lot of wind noise but gets a little better if you fully close the sun shade on the panoramic sun roof . Being the top in its class you would also expect real leather on the seats and not the synthetic leather. It is also advertised as having a mid locking differential but someone from marketing is mincing words because it doesn't have one . The all terrain tires are over glorified because they are at the very bottom of all terrain tires . Lastly , the PREMIUM 8 speaker stereo is far from being premium . Not hardly any bass and sound definition is almost non existent . There are many cool little electronic features but that isn't enough to pay out their MSRP IMO.These are just a few of the things they do not tell you ,but better for you to judge yourself.

Coming from working as a design engineer in the electronics industry I would not be surprised if the digital side of the RF interface is built in to the processor for this feature. The lower end processor may have it built in and the higher end one is still waiting on the next gen chip. I know this seems odd but creating new versions of chips takes a lot of NRE and it is unlikely they were designed in parallel.

AWFUL design on both interior and exterior. Kia designers completely flushed practicality for novelty. Obstructed rear quarters, awful rearward visibility, hard to service headlights, glossy black interior trim, stupid and infuriating haptic controls, terrible floor-mounted accel pedal. It's like they intentionally tried to make a bad vehicle. Real shame, since the suspension is one of the softest in modern vehicles, and that's a HUGE selling point.
