All love to Brian Barcyk but I'd really hate to see the Pacu from the 3,000 gallon tank go! Every time you guys walk past that tank I laugh at how big those things have gotten :)
shame that arapaimas are even sold for the casual public. imo they should only be purchased by public aquaria, monster fish rescues like yours and the odd person with a megatank
@@squares8657 while this is true there are plenty of people willing to pay the price of a small pima and sentence a fish that gets 5-8 feet to a cramped and stunted life inside an aquarium that is far too small
@@amazingaquaticsandexotics3030 an 8 feet arapima is not possible even if it is a very large aquarium or pond, still 5k gal for a single pima is enough same with gator gar
@@squares8657 theoretically an 8 foot arapaima is possible they just need lots of space and time to grow. cant remember how old brutus is [ cant be more than 6-8 years] but he is around 5-6 feet. given many years of feeding and growth in pristine water it could happen
But surely eating the plants is good for them, like us eating veggies.?? . If the pothos has roots on its shoots, just nip it off , put it in the water should keep growing.

What you guys do with that big old koi that you guys rescued because I don't know if you guys re-home them or put them in your pond I would put them in my pond. I'm sorry that thing was a freaking 🐳 that was one of the biggest koi I have ever seen and you know you get some smaller catfish in got a place to put them
