SOWT was my all time favorite job the Air Force had. I trained for years to get there and then the AFSC changed. I would still gladly shoot for SR. Such a cool job 🤙🏽
Hey, great work putting this content out I am really enjoying it so far. If you get a chance I would love to hear from a PJ's perspective; what job or skill is really making them stand out on the team that is unique to PJs. Thanks a lot if you read this!
Im so torn between CCT and SR im leaning slightly SR but if i find i have more of a strength in spacial awareness i may go CCT.. i hope theres opportunities in A&S or before a choice must be made to explore that. Love the podcast!
38:10 In the podcast they mentioned at the 2-4 they have teams developing that mission set, that being Air Force working unilaterally. So being that they are a developmental unit, I'd imagine that would work it's way down to the other STS's.
How do you feel about the recent comments made by a former Air Force Operator that SR has no path or direction and are being used for literally nothing?
Greatly appreciate the content. Given that SR goes through LRTI; would it stand to reason that opportunities as SR could be recommended for sniper training?

Is the STS moving towards more unilateral missions? It seems like it is.

@@Jackson-gv9xw don't think there's any way we can answer that unless we apply for the unit
wow i would love more videos about SR pipe line and mission sets
Btw why did u switch from Marine Recon to Air Force Special Warfare?
Probably quality of living. As prior USAF who worked with other branches, we have the best bases, more relaxed structure etc
Air Force Special Warfare is special operations Marine Recon is not

Based on research I’ve done, they are able to do some type of sniper/marksmanship training
