I purchased the Vacchetta tarot after seeing it on your channel and received the Il Meneghello version a couple of weeks ago, I’m really exited to dive into it! I love how crisp this black and white version is, thank you for sharing this walk-through.
@@MarilynFromTarotClarity I thought of a video suggestion. Would you consider making a video with book recommendations, I’m thinking books about historic decks, reading with historic decks and/or art history books that can help understanding historic tarot?
Marilyn made me do it....just bought the anima antigua version as well as an etsy version of the this deck!!! I appreciate ya. Thankyou!!! (I'd love to have a deck representing every 100 years)
Out of the anima antiqua decks you and I both have vachetta and montieri. (Which you may have more) but thankyou fornthe videos showcading both the decks I have
I ordered both the Tarot of the Master and the Il Meneghello deck after seeing your first video. I ordered the former, thinking for sure I wouldn't get the latter as it was out of stock, but as it turns out, I'm getting the latter before the former! :) I'm debating whether I will reback and trim the Master deck which is a bit of work, albeit enjoyable, or if I'll just return it.
Hi :) I have 3 Vacchetta's and for sure the Il Meneghello version is the best. If you want a workhorse version of it, you could keep the lo scarabeo version. It might be worth the effort to modify it. My Il Meneghello decks never leave the house so it's nice to have cheaper options of it. ~ Marilyn
@@MarilynFromTarotClarity Yes, I've decided to keep and mod the LS. BTW, I am digging that Spencer's Minchiate you mentioned, thank you. Don't know if you've seen that Minchiate-Vintage by Luke on MPC? I ordered it in plastic to have a truly travelling Minchiate. I love a good plastic deck. Looking forward to that.
@@wyomingwynne Oh wow, a plastic, traveling Minchiate! That sounds amazing. Do you have a link? I have plastic standard playing cards but I don't have any plastic tarot. They really would be awesome for traveling. I love shuffling my plastic playing cards so I'd probably like it in tarot too! Thank you for suggesting! ~ Marilyn
I recently got the B&W Lo Scarabeo Vacchetta and it is so beautiful! Enjoyed your video and seeing other versions of this deck and your thoughts on it. I was wondering, considering the Anima Antiqua; the little card suggests that this deck "might not be suitable for shuffling." Have you shuffled with it at all or had any issues? I've been hesitant but i might just go for it because I'd really like to use it. I'll avoid riffle shuffling though.
Hi! I think because the cards aren't varnished, the cards of this series are more like educational material for study than cards for actual use. I use their Minchiate decks but yes, I'm very careful about shuffling them. Thank you for watching and commenting. ~ Marilyn
Few days ago I got version of Lo Scarabeo-like deck from aliexpress for like 5$. A fake one but surprisingly good quality. It looks exactly the same but there is no book and box. Also my deck printed in size of Fournier Marseille decks . Original Lo Scarabeo looks bigger, isn't it?
I'll have to compare the Lo Scarabeo with the Fournier. Off hand I'm not sure of the size difference, but I'm inclined to say the Lo Scarabeo is larger.
YES! I noticed it earlier today and meant to point it out in the video and forgot about it and wasn't focused on it when I did it on video. I imagine a lot of mistakes happened which might be why we have random sheets that weren't good enough to be made into decks due to errors and remained as sheets. Some were found in book bindings. I'm not saying this is how this Vacchetta sheet was discovered because I really don't know, but it might have been a similar scenario. Thank you for watching and commenting. ~ Marilyn

Hi Kim :) You're welcome! The Il Meneghello version is the one to have. It's gorgeous! Thank you for watching and commenting. ~ Marilyn
