I got that older Dante Tarot deck back when I was a fairly new tarot reader and I wasn't able to use it. I still have it but I doubt I'll ever try to get familiar with it. It's very nice art but it's outside my wheelhouse.
I like both decks. To me they are totally different. I think I like the one with words a little bit more. Usually I go for the bigger view and boarderless is vey nice. Thanks for the view.

I'm currently working on a script about some Lo Scarabeo decks from the mid-2000s, and the comparison between these two decks, separated by a solid two decades, is.... telling. Lo Scarabeo had a tendency to do bare minimum research (or perhaps artists weren't given much time) when creating a themed deck, while simultaneously trying to 'innovate' new ways of reading the cards. Also, is it just me or is the new version a tad pippish with the increasing number of people as the suit progresses? Not a big deal, but it is disappointing when considering how rich the lore of Dante's Inferno can be. Although, I shouldn't be that surprised. 🙃 Thank you again for this video! 🙇🏽♀️🤖🖤
Thanks for sharing! For my tarot practice I think I would choose the new Dante Tarot. The keywords on the oop deck make it feel more like an oracle to me. So I would use it in that way.
