Nice video! I’ve tried both the Shure SLXD35 kit and Sennheiser EWDP kit with the plug-on transmitter. As far as the comparison, Sennheiser just made a couple different decisions than Shure did. Shure’s build quality is better in general - feels noticeably more robust on the transmitters, and they also used screens with menu navigation on the transmitters in addition to the receiver. Sennheiser added the internal recording feature in the plug-on transmitter (which I love), but left it out of the body pack transmitter. The trade off is more plasticy build quality and no screen/menu system on the transmitter (buttons only). In my experience they were equal in terms of the wireless performance.

You can connect mixer to a remote speaker wirelessly . Just like they do with the Sennheiser equivalent of this . Which is the sennheiser ENG G4 with two transmitter one looks like the receiver and the other one is a plug on mic transmitter . The advantage the sennheiser has though is the distance it transmits is 100 metres . So lot of DJ’s use it for remote speaker for wedding events

I like that A LOT - and can't lie, the aesthetics are SLEEK and I would go with this over the others for the curves..mmmmm

Hi Randy great video! In your office shot at 3:14 are you just using your office light to light that shot? Or are you using a key light as well?

Thanks for the kind words! There’s a big window on the right side that’s filling the room and adding a slight edge to me, but I also have a Godox Vl200 (on 15%) in a parabolic Softbox right in front (slightly on the same side as the window). Hope this helps!

The sound is amazing. Would this work with a shure sm7b?

I think so! Tom Buck actually just posted a video doing a similar thing with the SM7b and the Sennheiser version. I believe he made a custom 3D printed attachment to hold a cloudlifter as well. You should check out his vid :)

@@randyrektor I already saw his setup where he gave his creation a weird name 😂 Your setup looks much cleaner because you don’t attach a gain booster.

Yea it’s definitely a little slimmer. I feel like an SM7b is still a super weird (but awesome) looking setup
