I got to beta test this product, I really liked it. Super fast and convenient. I work professionally in audio and having this piece of kit was something I had confidence to bring out even with my Lectrosonics

Any thoughts on whether you will be able to use the slxd3 and slxd5 to transmit a wireless signal from your mixer to powered speakers?
I.e can you use the slxd3 in line rather than mike mode and is there a xlr out adaptor for the slxd5?

...or as wireless IEM's! The SLXD3 connected to an aux., with the SLXD5 on one's person would make for a nice n' compact witeless IEM system (...better specs than Shure's PSM900 series, to boot). 😎

Ohhhh... this is very exciting news!! As I believe the Shure SLXD system "sounds identical" to the Shure ULXD system (which is Shure's second best wireless system after their Shure Axient Digital, and still a better system than many of their competitors). Or at least they sound identical for all practical purposes, and it's just splitting hairs to tell them apart. Rather the big differences is SLXD has massively less features than ULXD (for instance, no quad receivers with DANTE. And you can't control their settings directly from your mixing console).
Yes, on paper Deity Theos definitely seems like the superior system. But if you want to go with a major established brand and/or don't need the extra features Deity has, then this new Shure seems like the way to go if you're on a tight budget.
Would it be possible to use the SLXD3 with the ULXD/QLXD systems in any manner whatsoever?

Hi, can we use the SLXD3 on a boom mic and sync it with a Sennheiser receiver (same frequencies of course) ?

How do these compare to sennheiser G4s

These new Shure wireless transmitters compare favorably with the Sennheiser G4 and offer the advantages of digital 24-bit digital audio and easier set-up and navigation. >Mark

    EW-DP SKP killer is here.

Hmmm 32 vs over 90 systems, non equidistant spacing and no sd recorder lower dynamic range etc.. not exactly an ewd-p killer. Less features for the same price..

Yep the ew dp is better. And it was out first. Shure missed an opportunity to make a better product @@tedbahas
