Love this!!! Thank you for the review. My husband and I booked the same trip through Costco travel and we leave in a few weeks. We are so excited! We decided to rent a car (which was very expensive..yikes!). Did you enjoy the food included at the hotel? Any recommendations on resort activities? And one more question- where did you get that dress you’re wearing in the video? It’s so cute!
Yayy! That's exciting. I did rent a car too but I didn't rent the car everyday because parking was expensive. The food at Queensbreak was ok. We didn't have breakfast at Kuhio Beach Grill because it was kinda expensive for a basic breakfast. We went to Musibi Cafe and Kona coffee every morning :) The resort will provide you with an activities schedule and you can sign up for them by scanning the QR code on the card. Thanks for this informative video! I’m about to book the same hotel through Costco and see two options for the ocean view room. One says “ocean view” and the other says “ocean view premium” with a $220 additional cost. After some searching I think the former is in paoakalani tower and the latter is in kealohilani tower. Do you know which one this room is in? And if it’s worth the extra?
I may be wrong but I think my room was located in the Kealohilani tower. To be honest, my room was already decent enough for our stay. If you want to upgrade to the ocean view premium, go ahead and treat yourself. If not, you can spend that $220 on food. 😋 I was happy with my room and did not upgrade to ocean front. We didn't spend much time out in the balcony either. I hope this helps. Thank you for watching.
Curious which one you chose. I’m seeing the same ocean view, ocean view premium and then ocean front. No clear information online the difference between ocean view and PREMIUM ocean view, which is separate from ocean front.

Is this hotel far from the hubbub of Waikiki? Cant decide between this and The Laylow-prefer something in the middle of everything
Marriott is actually not that far from restaurants, bars, and other places. Everything is within walking distance. The Laylow may be too noisy at night due to the crowd from the streets below. I hope you have an amazing vacation. 🌺
@@nursingillustration Thank you for this video. I had worried that this Marriott would also be noisy due to the nightly music. How bad is it with the balcony door shut? Would we have a hard time sleeping if we try to go to sleep around 9 pm Hawaii time? Also, I know they have an issue with homeless people in that area. Did it affect your stay?
@@chezellis Hi Chez, thank you for watching my video. We were on a higher floor so we did not have issues with the noise. It might be an issue if you stay in a room near the pool or the restaurants of the hotel. I know they have live music playing at the Queensbreak restaurant but I don't know about the schedule. There were some homeless people in Waikiki but we didn't have any issues with that either because we always avoided the crowd, especially at night. I had a great stay there. I hope you have a wonderful vacation in Oahu. 🌺
