- Street Performer, Covent garden, London - Funny street performer at Covent garden in London. Let's travel to London and let's visit the area of Covent garden to watch a great performance by a street performer. Since the 1660s Covent Garden has never missed a chance to put on a performance by a variety of street performers. The first record of Covent Garden street entertainment came in 1662, when Samuel Pepys’ diary notes that a marionette show featuring a character named Punch took place on the Piazza. Today, the custom continues.
A shopping and entertainment hub in London's West End, Covent Garden centres on the elegant, car-free Piazza, home to fashion stores, craft stalls at the Apple Market, and the Royal Opera House. Street entertainers perform by 17th-century St. Paul’s Church, and the London Transport Museum houses vintage vehicles. Upscale restaurants serve European cuisines, and nearby theatres draw crowds for plays and musicals.

Worked at a Chuckie Cheese when I was a kid I use to dress up like all the different characters at the restaurant and at GRAND OPENINGS of different events It was the most fun I've ever had!!! : )

I am failing to see how feigning to chop someones head off on a London Street is very funny then, or now in 2018. "In London on the afternoon of 22 May 2013, a British Army soldier, Fusilier Lee Rigby of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, was attacked and killed. Michael Adebolajo and Michael attacked Rigby with knives and a cleaver, and attempted to behead him." Talented yes, and some funny bits, but in todays climate unnecessary at best. Sorry to be a kill joy (no pun intended) no haters please, just my opinion combined with my great sadness over what our Country has become.
