World's FUNNIEST Street Magician Visit Covent Garden London

- Covent Garden is famous for its street entertainment. The best acts tend to site themselves around the outside of the Piazza. You can sometimes listen to singers performing in the basement level of the Piazza too, which you can overlook from the ground-level balcony (just walk round the shops inside the Piazza, and you will see another level below).
When we say "street entertainment", we dont mean those boring buskers and silent statues. The acts that perform in Covent Garden are all auditioned in front of a panel of judges to ensure that they're good. You can see everything from mimes and acrobats to daredevil stunt riders, magicians and opera singers... to name just a few.
The Piazza is full of posh little shops and stalls, little cafes and restaurants, so it's the perfect place to have a spot of lunch and people-watch. On a nice sunny day the chairs spill out onto the pavement so you can enjoy the acts.
