Susan Margaret, Stroke Survivor Shares Her Stroke Journey

I’m Susan Margaret. I’m 56 years old.
I had a major stroke, 9-27-2014 while visiting in McKinney, TX. I was airlifted to the Texas Stroke Institute in Plano, Texas. They discovered I had a hole in my heart and I had surgery, Missoula, Montana.
I worked as Director of Mission, as director of chaplains, at St. James hospital, Butte, Montana.
My husband Bill and I married in 10 years ago.
My adult children live in Chicago, St Paul and Grand Marias, Minnesota.
In my career, I was a stockbroker, insurance agent, banking- sales trainer, organization development consulting and I am a board certificate chaplain.
I moved from St Paul, Minnesota to Butte, Montana to Newark, Delaware and moved to Dayton, Ohio, 3 years ago.
I love tattoos, I like volunteering as a hospice, I love kayaying, I like quilting, and meditating every day, 30 minutes.
I’m determined!
