Couldn't be better like this!!! Amazingly explained!!! It's been my long-term doubt cleared now. Thank you so much. Sankhya also well explained in the other video..
Excellent lucid presentation . Have just started learning Samskritam. 2 points 1) Answer given to @sivarajanv6617 needs elaboration. Your own example रूप्यकाणि says that. 2) Font size of the letters used needs to be larger to facilitate reading. धन्यवादाः
Thanks for Clearly Explained the Nathvam Rule, I have one doubt if one word any comes more than one Nakaarams how we decide which Nakaram is Applicable, I have doubts in Word दक्षिणायनम् at it's Shasti Bhahuvachanam
Thanks a lot. Even though it is an old video, this was useful for me to learn the change from nakara to Nakara. Only the last 2 grammatical rules, I could not understand., but you said that it is not required now. Simple explanation which can go into the grey cells easily. Thanks.
@@SanskritToday thank you for your response. Generally in the beginners level we have doubts in writing like कृष्ण, विष्णु , महेश्वर which Sha should we write . Please clarify.( I am doing my parichaya through SAMSKRUTHA Bharathi..)
You are making difficult points also very simple. All your videos are very easy to understand and it gets registered in memory because of your repeatition..
spelling of रामेण is (र् + आ + म् + ए + ण् + अ). The last letter is अ not ण् so it takes णत्वम्. spelling of रामान् is (र् + आ + म् + आ + न्). The last letter is न्, so णत्वम् does not happen.
What is the meaning of "क्षत्रियाणां", "रुप्यकाणि", "मारीचेन", "दृश्यमानं" sir ? Pls reply them in reply itself sir. I searched meanings of these words in spokensanskrit.org website, but i didnt get meanings sir.
These are the declined forms from base words. Generally in dictionary, you would find only root/base words not all its forms. Recommend you to go through the Gita Sopanam (Level 1) course to understand these forms.
You have not explained रामान् । Why णकारः does not come here. There is a rule for this also. If नकारः ( न्) comes at the end of a पदम्, then णकारः does not happen even if Nimiththm is present Otherwise a very nice explanation Sir!

This rule applies only where रेफः / षकारः / ऋकारः is present. Other than that there words which will themselves have ण . In those cases we have to use as ण. The words given by you are having ण by themselves. No change happens. We should use them as it is by remembering.

At the end of the word (padam), णत्वं will not happen.

Just one question.
Under Rule 8/4/1, no mention of ऋ?
ऋ is mentioned in the vaartikam. not in sutra.
Explained nattvam very well. Clearly understood
Very well explained. Confused with usage of न् and ण्. Thank you.

Excelent, Lucid ans Simple exposition. धन्यवादः।
You are making difficult points also very simple. All your videos are very easy to understand and it gets registered in memory because of your repeatition..
Thanks you very much for this informative video.
May you please explain रामान् also.
There is no व्यवाधक between र and न् yet it remains न्।
णत्व rule will not be applied if the न् is at the end of the word.
Thanks.
But रामेन gets converted into रामेण although न् is in the end.
spelling of रामेण is (र् + आ + म् + ए + ण् + अ). The last letter is अ not ण् so it takes णत्वम्.
spelling of रामान् is (र् + आ + म् + आ + न्). The last letter is न्, so णत्वम् does not happen.
हरीन् रामान् गुरून् will all these change to हरीण् रामाण् गुरूण् ?
If it is at the end of the word, णत्वं will not be applied.
thank you
Thank you it was helpful
Thanks for clarifying the doubt on anuswaraha

much impressed by this video and got clarity
Can you please explain / quote video for the grammatical item numul (moordhanya nakaaram)?
Currently video not available on this pratyaya. Example: भोजं भोजं व्रजति, भुक्त्वा भुक्त्वा व्रजति
One question, if there are two ऋ्/र्/ष् in a word then how does the rule unwind? Awaiting your reply.
Example?

Welcome!
Sir, what about for Baalken. Why does it not become Anh, from N. There is L but no R, SH or TRA. Would love your help Sir
ऋ्/र्/ष् are missing they are nimitams( reason) due to conversion happens. If they are missing conversion will not happen.
How does this apply to Trinetra?
त्रिनेत्र is the samasta padam. In that case each part of that is individual word. So Natvam will not happen.
What is the meaning of "क्षत्रियाणां", "रुप्यकाणि", "मारीचेन", "दृश्यमानं" sir ? Pls reply them in reply itself sir. I searched meanings of these words in spokensanskrit.org website, but i didnt get meanings sir.

@@SanskritToday ok sir, surely👍
प्राप्नोति वा प्राप्णोति ? Which is correct?
प्राप्नोति
Pl explain Na tva niyama for the word girishena....where na tva occurs
There natva will not happen. because श is in middle.

How to explain बाण and खण्ड
namaste .kinthu why we write पुष्पानि and not पुष्पानि even though there is ष kara bhavathi..and inbetween letters are all avvyavadhayika varnaha.kripaya expain karothu..
Natvam occurs at here.
Ji, we write it as पुष्पाणि only, not पुष्पानि.
Can you also show when स becomes ष, I have doubt why in saptama vibhakti it is said for rama रामेषु but rama , it's said रमासु. Pls clarify
In this saptami bahuvacana case, If the previous swara is other than a, aa, then it would be ष

What is meaning of "पितॄणाम् " sir?
of pitrus (plural)
Thank you so much.
You're welcome!
we need to practice to remember these rules
हलन्तस्य पाठम् अस्ति वा?मया न लबभ्दम्
Why not you prepare such a precise lesson on षत्वम्? That would be great!
Thanks for suggesting.
please let us know the rule relating to words like aNu, baaNa kalyaaNa nipuNa etc.
