    Sorry if I missed. Where did you mention about the ports?

    Just an observation, you didn't speak about which ports need to be open between on-premise and M365.

    Hello, May I ask you question? Can I Stop and Delete a Synced batch? That is because I just want to complete a few mailboxes inside that batch instead of the whole batch. Or there is workaround to migrate individual mailboxes inside a synced batch?

      When you synch a user with Azure AD using Azure AD connect, it only synch user no the mailbox. So if you only need user in AzureAD. then no need to assign user license

    Hi niyas ... thanks for videos...
    I have one doubt
    When we need to assign the license? It seems that you are not assigning any license after migration..

      Yes, sure we need to assign license, I may missed it, thank you

      Hey Surendhar... When you complete Migration you have to assign the license to the user on the Admin center... Azure and Exchange online service will propagate a temporary mailbox for the migrated user till you assign the license. If you forget to assign the license in 24 hours the mailbox might go in Soft deleted state, and you have 30 days to recover the mailbox. The mailbox might also remain active for more than 24 hours without a license but I will suggest do take that risk..

    Nice video sir, I have a doubt, Once the user is migrated to office 365 ,the remote mailbox is automatically enabled in on-premise, why is that part missing.. anything we need to configure to get the remote mailbox enablement in on-premise?

      Hello Santosh, Mailbox in On-premise does not get converted as a remote mailbox. On-premises Mailbox goes in disabled state and User Identity in AD and Recipient type for that users Shows as Remote mailbox.. Exchange online will Provision a mailbox for the users when we start the migration. The migration will Migrate data from On-premises Mailbox to Exchange online Mailbox.

    Hi sir,
    Why after moving mailbox to o365, this user cannot receive email from exchange onprime?

    • @itproguide
      @itproguide  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Connection between 365 and exc are tls, you need a certificate, then make sure ports are open. Try to test the mail flow from exchange online admin console
