Hey there - nice video! New Exchange Management UI in O365 will automatically create all the configuration, project, API access etc for a GSuite Migration - I cant get a screenshot but there is an entry in the new gui that save a lot of time setting all of this up. Its visible undet the migration page. Also - if you can accept downtime you don't need to bother with the alias email domains or forwarding addresses. A full GSuite migration works but every mailbox migration appreas to fail at the completion stage - this is because the migration tool attempts to set a forwarding address (and tried 60 times). Then it cant do it 'fails'. This is a soft fail as the mailbox and all the migration works fine. Calendar, contacts and content migrates across with no issue. Again - this requires downtime for either the source mailboxes or the target. There is no co-existence but its very easy to accomplish with minimal downtime.
I also encountered the same error at the end "Synced with errors". However, its takes ages to migrate the emails over. A mailbox with only 6 emails (around 3MB) took 1 hour to migrate! Did you also come across this? Ant way of speeding up the migration?

ITProGuide your tutorial got me father than my previous attempts at migration, but I still got stuck. During my migration (2 out of 3 users in my small company synced) I got the following error "The subscription for the migration user ____ couldn't be loaded. The following error was encountered: A subscription wasn't found for this user." This error message shows up for all three users, including the two whose status is "synced." The third user shows as "syncing" but no progress is being made in the # of items synced. I searched online for answers and found a Microsoft page a solution was to stop and then restart the migration batch. I tried this but immediately encountered the same error. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I had this problem as well. Try deleting the migration batch that the user was in then re-creating it. As long as you don't complete a batch, you can delete and re-create it.

Mine do not seem to be going anywhere? They are in the Sent folder, but no one is receiving the emails.
Correction. Everything thing arrives. I can send from Gmail and it goes everywhere (Gmail and exchange) I can send to anything from Exchange and it arrives with the exception of items addressed to Gmail (domain I just migrated) accounts. They are in the sent folder, but do not reach the recipient.
@@arthurross392 I'm preparing a migration for this week. Microsoft's documentation is not very clear. I'm thinking of following his approach, except for the part of creating Google project, service account and API activation which will be automatically with the new method.
Please tell me, is it the same process you followed? you didn't have any particular problem with apart from the difference of the interfaces?
@@benzcastors8449 I followed this exactly as he described and it worked perfectly. I did just use my account which is a global account. As you go through the steps, what he asks is understandable as to why it's necessary. There is even a step in Microsoft that when you are ready, it will automatically switch dsn to Exchange. You still need to go in and clean out the forwarding entries that you add.
@@TheArtross Great, thanks for responding. I know now what I have to do.
@@arthurross392 Have you receive any clarification on this? I'm having the same issue where I wasn't able to send/receive email from Exchange to users that or not migrated yet (Gmail)

@@vaibhavsurve2631 domain wide delegation is different, it shows no button to activate it, just a warning sign.
Hi Brother,
Please help me, Domain-wide Delegation
Granting this service account access to your organization's data via domain-wide delegation should be used with caution. It can be reversed by disabling or deleting the service account or by removing access through the Google Workspace admin console. I am unable to check the Domain-wide Delegation option.
kindly anyone drops the answer here, I am facing this issue while completing the Service Account
very clear and straightforward. Thanks for the video

Hi bro can we use gsuits sites in Office 365?
Thanks for the help! By the way, G Suite is pronounced GEE SWEET,. 😀
Once the migration done, can the subdomain in the office 365 portal be removed?
What is the purpose of adding the o365 subdomain on the GSuite side? What am I missing?
Yes
Some users in my organization want to use GSuite and some want to use Office 365. Do you see any problems setting up the alias' and forwarding and allowing users to chose which mailbox to use while keeping main domain MX records in GSuite?
Shouldn't be a problem aside from doubling your cost
Even after activating and providing credit card details, I can't find the organisation/location to select, anyone have any ideas why?
Got exactly the same issue, did you find out what this was?
hello, thanks for this video. very useful but I have a question: does the label create in gsuite will appear in O365 as a folder during migration?
Yes.
Thank you so much. This helped me a lot. Great job.

Really useful, thank you.
Hi I manualy confirmed first batchjob (which was the test account), and when I sent email from/to gsuit to every mail everything is ok, but when I try to sent mail from O365 (from migrated account) to gsuit account (not yet migrated), or o365 I am getting error access denied
I have the same issue. How did you solve this?
how did you solve it?
I guess it's the google cloud permissions
At time 7:26, is it a typo error that the alias in O365 platform becomes @gsuite.adamsenglishclub.com? Should that be @0365.adamenglishclub.com?
I have the same question. Before time 6:01, the Alias for the accounts in O365 is @o365.adamsenglishclub.com, somehow at time 7:02, everyone O365 accounts has alias of @gsuite.admsenglishclub.com. I think it is a mistake. All alias should remain @o365.adminsenglishclub.com in Office365 to receive email forwarded from G-Suite.
I think at time 9:55, the presentation is showing correctly with the proper configuration.
Hi, I can't find the powershell scripts you mentioned for bulk updates. Where should I look for these? Thanks,
little old topic but maybe someone will find it useful :)

19:40 has changed. Can someone help on where to go?
Great video. Have a question. I have some users in Domain-A in G Suite. Can these be moved to Domain-B in Office 365? Quick answer will help a great deal. Thank you. Is there an email address of yours to reach out?
Yes you can!
Follow the same process and finally change change the custom domain
Thank you very much. You explained very clearly.
