i actually came across a bunch of stuff toward the end of the year that are just fantastic- The Artless Glow Base from Heimish is a fantastic sunscreen and primer especially for dry skin, and their mascara is one of the best I've ever tried, really natural but helps intensify and also really easy to take off. Also really loved the Algenist luminizing drops, especially in Rose- beautiful pale lavender highlighter that I think you'd love. Was a fun year in makeup- and fun following along with you! Happy New Year!
I treated myself to the zoeva plaisir box for my birthday because of your first impression, and they are honestly such stunning quality I love them all but I also have a special spot for the caramel melange palette! So beautiful so thank you ❤️

For me a discovery of the year was the Inglot AMC FACE AND BODY ILLUMINATOR - like putting on liquid gold but gives a really subtle natural effect under make up. Insane on the body.
Also, I went and bought the Charlotte Tilbury powder the other day as you had talked about it and a few other people mentioned it, I have quite an oily t-zone and it is THE BEST powder I have ever used... So beautiful, flawless and long lasting! I recommend to everyone! Xxxxx
Im working on my Minimalist makeup collection. I find that Becca LIQUID highlighters are far more better than the chunky glittery powder versions. I highly recommend it.
My 2 favorite holy grail products I discovered this year are the Dior Overcurl mascara and the ABH Modern Renaissance palette. My eyelashes are very straight but the Dior mascara makes them look so curled and long - I get asked all the time if I'm wearing extensions when I have it on. The Modern Renaissance palette is the most blendable palette I've ever come across. It's just so amazing and worth every penny!
Ah your hair color really is perfection! 😍 I really need to try the Chanel liquid lipsticks, they look so beautiful! I'd say my all time favorite liquid lipstick line this year was Smashbox's Always On, they are so amazing, they're comfortable, transfer proof and last all day!

Biggest find was The Nubian palette by Juvia's Place. Not sure if you can get it in the UK. It's gorgeous - pigmented, blends beautifully etc. I want to collect them all! Eye of Horus brow range & eye liner. Everything Jaclyn Hill with Becca. ABH modern renaissance & Tartes work of art eye liner set ❤️❤️.
Favourite products of the year are Clarins Brow Fixing Gel (works much better than the ABH on me), CHANEL Les Beiges Foundation, Laura Mercier SPF 30 Protect Primer (can't leave the house without it), MAC Modesty lipstick (perfect nude lip)!
I have tried Kat von D this year and am liking what I have used. Got a lot more Charlotte tilbury and lovin the colour chameleon are great for an easy get out the door/stay all day eye.
Rimmel match perfection concealer, rimmel Kate sculpt palette and the L'Oréal so couture mascara are my every day must haves! I'm so happy some love to given to the so couture mascara it's been one of my favourites for years! It was so sad no was talking about it so I'm happy it's getting some love! Also I have the zoeva cocoa blend palette which is amazing! I love it! I think I'm gonna have to try the caramel one though, because of this video 😄 love your videos and I'm so happy these products got a mention! 🙂 xx
Oooh I'm on the hunt for a new mascara, after this video and this comment I may try this mascara! Would you say it keeps the lashes very separated? Alix said so in the video (or at least that's what I understood), but I just looked at pictures on Google and it looks like it can kind of stick a few lashes together, if you get what I mean. What's your experience?

I have naturally quite long lashes, so anything that lengthens them without thickening makes my lashes look really weird. False Lash Effect just suits me absolutely perfectly, also it's a good budget find!
What lipsticks do you normally layer on top of CT Pillow Talk? I love the lip liner, but have a difficult time finding proper lipsticks that go along well with it! I use it with Nars Velvet Lip Glide in "Stripped" mostly.
What color do you use of the Clinique superbalanced foundation? I love the foundation+concealer from Clinique, but since they do not sell the lightest colours in my country I have to order online without being able to swatch :')

how do you find the perricone md blusher in terms of blending etc, does it not budge the base products underneath? The only reason I'm asking is because I love the concept but I'm an oily skinned gal and my makeup tends to slip and slide everywhere so just wanted your opinion before i purchase! xx
i love eyeliner but i wish thebalm was better for watery eyes, my right eye gets sensitive and therefore watery very easily, so it destroys everything - this was highly recommended by another youtuber so i got it about 8 or so months ago and when it went well, it was amazing HG-worthy but when it went wrong cos my eye watered, it went everywhere, almost my whole eyelid went black and it's impossible to fix (always seemed to happen on way to work and i was stuck for 12 hours). also i don't like how watery the formula is, takes so long to dry sometimes too, just sad about it all around :(

I find it so 'meh' I find it doesn't set my makeup- I don't know; I keep hoping that one day I'll just 'get' it, but have had it for months now - and nope I really think it's so non-special and doesn't do anything for me. I really wanted to love it but just don't 😰

the balm liquid liner is excellent product, i use only that one for a same reasons you do, liquid lipstick from the balm are also very very good

the zoeva blanc fusion pallet is so nice too, it has equal amounts of matte and shimmer shades and they blend really well

This isn't new by any means but I've been obsessed with Stila's patina liquid lipstick! It's such a beautiful pink.
