You know what amazes me? So far as I'm aware, this routine is the only video out there of Cardini; and from it he's made himself one of my favorite magicians. I just love the little skit, how he seems confused and frustrated by what's happening around him. He's a tipsy aristocrat just trying to go to bed. And, as has been said: the manipulations are beautiful.
Esta es la primera vez en 12 años de practicar este arte que estoy asombrado por un número mágico, hasta que me tomo y me concentro en los momentos de truco y repetición mientras estoy ADD
There at the end he just couldn't quit smoking! But seriously, this guy is possibly the best sleight of hand artist of his millennium, and I have not seen anything even close to as good, because even if someone could do it as well as him they would not have it be as classy as he does.
Man, that guy must have smoked some ciggies while practicing and performing this routine. I guess now it would be done with e-cigs, hehe. All joking aside though, what a routine and skilled technician. The manipulation of the billiard ball was unreal, backed up with slight of hand that I am sure Teller himself (and many others ofcourse) is more than envious of. Thank you for the upload!
Hello, random question to the fellow magicians out there. Can anyone point me in the direction of books\documents outlining the use of thread\elastic thread in card manipulation. I recall seeing it somewhere and can't figure out where. I try to avoid magic forums with a passion, please let me know if you have any ideas?
Not that I don't occasionally cave to a highly recommended one trick DVD but I will always be able to be on the "cutting edge" of magic doing effects few have ever seen. Why? Because I read... Love being a book guy
I agree wiv essexboy69 a few posts down, nowdays magicians buy one trick dvds while amazing top magic like this is collecting dust in books all over the world!
And whilst modern-day magicians buy every little gimmick and brainfart on one-trick DVD's, beautiful, manipulative magic such as this, lies dormant in so many magic books across the World.
It is a mark of true talent when a person can hold an audience in awe and and barely says a word. Much respect to this past master.
No debemos olvidarnos de este Gran Mago

A lot of people will watch this and have no idea how easy he makes it look, and how influential Cardini was. BTW, the bellhop is actually his wife.
Talk about subtle. He was.... no words.
got damn genius!
i wish everything were like it was back then
Gracias para cargar! Muchos saludos!!
GENIUS
Grande artista velocissimo manipolatore, Grande ! Great Cardini !
Irrepetible !! Grande Cardini !!
Classiest manipulation act of all times.
Does anyone know the names of the songs he used?
reginald scott wrote discoverie of witchkraft 200 years before robert-houdin was born
I still wish that Cardini had gotten around to writing his magic book.....
what is the name of move 3:20?
It’s a single card production (of cards that are back palmed)
He war gloves when he preformed with cards which makes it all the more difficult because you lose dexterity with the gloves on
